Quoting:

Today I was playing in hard mode with a friend. Trying to get my HUmar to level 40 to help out my friend in Very hard instead or having to use my FOnewearl.

Anyways we were in with two forces and started the quest Maxium Attack 2. At the terminal something seemed up when the two forces were only about level 45 and both had dark bridges. Then they said they were trying to disable the timer to the quest!!! But when me and my friend basically could not help them and would not have anyways one PKed the other!

I have no idea what happened but PK! I was hoping never to see that again! I can not remember there names but one of them had a few / in there name. This is not good news is it! I reckon it is a bug rather then a hack but can not be certain.

I know about the timer disabling, but...

One force striked the other with great vengeance and furious anger. And got the whole backseat messy.

PKing isnt as big a problem as it used to be, as you no longer drop your weapon on the floor when you die ( it just un-equips)

As for P.K, i beleive their are a few ways to do it, mainly along the lines of nasty tricks that were seen on the dreamcast before the cheat codes were known of.

They were both using Dark Bridges? Heh, well that's why then. The Dark Bridge can randomly kill you as well as cause random status effects. :/

I thought the dark bridge only hit you with a random status effect? Never knew it could also kill you.

The dark bridge can't randomly kill you. This kid is full of it. PK doesn't exist on the gc.

Dark bridge does take away HP whenever you cast. Furthermore when it takes away HP when you cast only the caster can see the damage being done. Its the same thing with the pyscho wand.

the kid could have been casting something like Rafoie when there wasn't a target so you didn't see the spell...

yeah it takes your HP away whenever you cast a spell.
I've tricked some people doing that actually...
Others cant see the HP go down sometimes for some reason.

The mods don't like it when you bump old topics. See the episode 1&2 general forum for the post regarding that (it's stuck up towards the top). Just a friendly heads-up.

Here's the topic.
