Java Chat Problem

I'm having a slight problem with the Java Chat. Being reasonably new here I thought it would be a good way to meet people, so I tried to join. Kicked off immediately, couldn't get back in. Okay, leave it a day or two, I thought.

Come back today, and I'm still being instantly kicked before I even say anything. I'm not saying or doing anything offensive (I don't even get a chance to say something, period.) and I don't think my user name is offensive...

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Bans are permanent, can you believe that?

If you broke the rules, then it's too bad.

Otherwise, perhaps someone with your ISP and similar IP got your entire ISP banned from the chat.

Okay, thanks. As I said, I've never got to say a thing in the chat at all, so it's probably the latter of someone getting my ISP banned. Thanks for your help.
