I was playing with a HUmar, basic black clothes white hair, thinking it's cool. BKB+80 of course, rare mag, rare armor and sheild. The works.

He was killing all the monsters so I got out my legit Vulcans with 40% hit, starting killing everything before he could get to it he got pissed and left.

Just thought it was funny to see a HUmar racing back and forth trying to hit Boomas with his MIGHTY Black King Bar.

After he left a HUnwearl, lvl 52 came in with Chu Chu mag and Partisan of Lightning....(she said that stuff was given to her)

Here's a couple of tricks that work well.

1) When a duper comes in with a BKB or some super strong weapon, try to cast a Telepipe while they are in the midst of attacking. They teleport back and they get pissed off everytime. Just keep doing it and they will eventually leave.

2) In a room full of many enemies, gather a lot of them to run after you, and then go straight towards the duper. They will get killed after a few hits because they don't know how to handle more than one enemy at a time.

3) Just don't cast Shifta/Deband on them...easiest one of all. Better yet, don't even heal them.

HAHA, good one Dime. haha, I may use dupes but my stratagy for lower level people playing with me is... I always have Rafoie or gizonde and hit everything(to weaken them and to get exp) or i wait for everyone to hit then at least once. Or if im playing with people around my own level i just kill whats near me and/or help them if there are monsters all around them then i will help them out of the "ditch". I am not one of the asshole dupe users who like to show off their weapons.(I got a YAMI which I am proud to use, not show off)

1) Would work but if the person has their attack on another button besides the middle one then this trick is useless.

2) Um, smart dupers dupe mats and would have loaded on Def and Pow at least... so this one won't work either.

3) Dupers can detect sarcasm and assholes so they'd probably leave in search of cool ppl to play with and give them freebies if they want them.

You know in that term I would agree that the majority of stupid HUmars with the BKB, Double Cannon, Angel/Devil mags fit that description.

However, there are a few rare breed of HUmars I've seen that actually know the value of a good pair of hit %s and yes they are dupers also so that 'us legits' thing is kinda self-centered seeing as their are also stupid Legit players and well as stupid dupers.

It's one thing which I can say I've truly seen on both sides of the fence. Yeap you can count me as a guy who has been using dupes however it's funny that being only Level 118 as a HUcast I can take Falz's 2nd Form BS Barta attack easy enough just because I think that Resist/Blizzard is probably one of the best units to equip fighting Falz outside of Cure/Freeze.

I do get a chuckle out of seeing HUmars around level 135 to 140 get killed by that move and wonder how the hell I'm the only one standing.

Breaks my heart sometimes that the majority of players never bother as to never try to figure out what items work best in certain areas & then ask me how I'm doing so well when they are so high level above me using dupes also.

Heh it just goes to show that sometimes PSO was never all about levels...it's about skill.

Bah, I'm convinced the reason HUmars use powerful duped weapons is because the tech animation with mechguns is STUPID. It drives me insane. That being said, I have a 45% Hit Repeater I found for my RAmarl I'll use sometimes on my HUmar. I prefer a Gungnir with hit %s or that nice Red Partisan Mr. Crimson Assassin dropped tonight while I was looking for a Mil to kill.(Found it, too. Didn't even have to pipe.) Screw big damage. I want to hit lots of things, quickly, without a bunch of red text. Being in a corner with 8 Vulmers is not a problem with a good Partisan-type in your hands. Silly dupe-users. Ditch the duped crap and find a real weapon. Or if you want to show off, go get a Saber with no %s from Normal Forest and successfully hold your own on Ult with -that-. :-P

mm I'm a HUmar!

I enjoy useing my 45% berserk vulcans but..I have a problem with mechguns. a good majority of everyone uses them, which of course is a good thing cause they rock. But it looks so boreing, thats my beef with it n.n;

I love my Zanba,Flight Cutter,Red Handgun and "insert one of the many twins here cept Double Cannon..duh". I always carry those four on me.

But those Berserk Vulcans...holy hell man. about 800-1200 a shot when I have some good shifta going on. So nothing can compete with it...which sucks actualy.

On a side note, a Whip weapon type would be nice.

Seeing how this topic was bumped anyway... I use a BKB, but I don't hog kills or show off. I sometimes use my Red Sword and Combats, I interchange depending on the enemy, Red Sword for a group of em and Combats for Lilies and annoying enemies, and I always leave items in the room for the other players. Don't judge someone too quickly, unless they're level 90 and doing 1200 damage per hit with their BKB. But yeah, didn't someone post a topic on not bumping old topics...?

I am the same as The_Hero_Of_Time I use duped weapons but im not as retarded as half of those dupers using the strongest weapons that only attack one thats why I got a last survivor and plenty of high lvl techs so I can hit everything and still get exp.
