Help! Question On Max MST

I just Maxed out My FOnewm's MST, at 670, lvl 48. Is the Max the same everytime? If not, Is 670 a good Max? Because the spells still seem WAY too weak to be the "God-Like Power" I've been told the FOnewm is supposed to gain somewhere along the road. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Well.. it doesn't get any better from there. Ive been maxed at 670 from the last 20 levels.

I guess the only thing you can look foward to is finding the lvl 11+ spells and the CScane.
Oh and even with maxed MST you can bypass it with a equiped wand (still reads as 670), so really it's 680 or 690.
