Challenge Mode: What exactly is it?

I noe im getin 2 sound like a noob, but I've never plyaed challenge mode..so what is it?

It's a mode of play where you must complete 9 levels in total. You start off at level one and have restricted items and stats. As you start the later levels, your level will be higher too. If you complete these levels in under 7 hours you'll obtain Srank. This gives you a choice of Srank weapons. There's two different kinds, one set for offline, and one for online. The online ones are the basic weapon types, only you get to name them.
