Rare gilchic oddity

So I was in the Very Hard mines right? I killed to Gilchics at once, and two red boxes where there, sitting next to eachother. They were both Proto Regene gears, it was weird. I think maybe since I killed them at the same time the game screwed up and put the thing there. But it was probably just luck.

The theory I've heard to explain that happening works like this:

You chance of getting a specific drop is somewhat variable, and changes from game-to-game. So, generally speaking, if you find a specific rare in the game, there's a good chance you can find it again.

I razonde 2 rappies at the same time and they both dropped Stags. One with 65% on hit.

Yeah, once you find a rare you're really likely to find another one in the same place...my bluefull FOnewearl found four Gae Bolg's in the ultimate mines (1 run), sometimes two in a room.

i once gizonded 4 boxes - two of them contained photon drops - right next to each other ^_^;

I don't know if this is a glich or what but I just got a secert gear and when i went to the tekker it wouldn't tell me what it was. I don't know whats going on. If i have to do something else could you tell me? Thanks for the help if given

The name of the actual barrier is Secret Gear. It's not like "SPECIAL WEAPON" or anything. They, like armor, come tekked.

I've had a Dragon Slayer finding frenzy before, but not two simultaneous drops of the same thing. Though I wouldn't be surprised at some of the drops that happen in the mines...first time I took my RAmar through some of the Ult Mines quests he got tons of Final Impacts and other red boxes in the first room! It was an insane run...(Particularly since it was my first time taking any character through the Ult Mines area...)

arlan, in ult mines, diska of braveman at beat... @240... i reenter the room (left to write the first drop down), kill one or two further arlan and what do i find? another diska of braveman... beat @241.

(why arent i that lucky with other rare drops ^_^;; - gilchich in spaceship for example... i'd like to have 2 electro frames...)

If you want odd, I'll show you ODD!

First I was playing through Hard Mines while on the phone with my friend. We were arguing over merges and I told him that I didn't need merges for my RAcaseal, but that I needed a good shield. I told him any rare shield at that point would do. He laughed at me and said I'd never find one cause he hadn't even found one. I walked into the big U shaped room in mines and shot the Gils that were there all with my crush bullet, killing them all at the same time. BAM! 3 Secret Gears all lined up. I threw a fit and he was like "Darn I hate you!" So now my RA, HUnewearl, and FO all wear those 3 Secret Gears. My HUmar already had one from before (got it in the Unsealed Door).

And even more bizarre is before this ever happeend, we argued over the Delsaber Combo (same friend on the phone). He had 2 Busters and I had 1 Sheild. He was going to trade me for the Shield by giving me a Buster. So I told him no way! I'll find my own Buster! He also said that his dad wanted the Meteor Smash I found from a Sinow Gold a few days before cause his dad plays as a RA. He came over and I was playing and I walked into the first room in Ruins 1 (the Variant with the 2 waves of dimenians in the first room, including 1 delsaber in the 2nd wave) This is by far the LUCKIEST thing in my WHOLE PSO career. It's not that it was rare but as I blazed through with my stag at my measely lvl 75 (didn't have online at the time mind you) I killed a dimenian and got a M. Smash. And the next one dropped it.... and the next..... and the next.... and so on and so forth til I had like 7 or 8 of them. My friend at this point was screaming and threatening to pull out the power until when I killed the Delsaber he saw a red box. I was like "DEL BUSTER IS MINE!" Then we saw it was a left arm. That's when we traded Sheild for Buster, as we could each help one another out. Wish I had that kind of luck all the time..... not in all my 1000+ hours of PSO gaming have I had 8 or 9 rares in 1 room, even if they are just crappy ones.

P.S. I still have 4 of those Smashes untekked if anyone wants em for free.

Maybe when you get Multi-kills with things like Shotguns... they increase the chance of Rares extremly...

I found a god/luck and god/body side by side like that in V hard mines with my now level 175 RAmar! needless to say people were really mad at me for picking up both but... such is life >=)

Um, no section ID can find God/Luck in very hard mines, and only Viridia finds God/Body there. Let alone one section ID being able to find both, which would be needed for you to find both in the same room.

One time during an HS with some friends we pretty much got a rare in every room. Its was pretty funny. Nothing really good though... heh oh ya and the dragon dropped his nail at the end of the run.

Rarest thing I found was a God/Battle and Magic Rock intirista or whatever in the same room. I had to go berserk with my freeze traps cause I heard Hildetorrs use megid and I didnt have scapes. Besides that, rarest stuff I found was 8 meseta box thingies all lined up nicely...
