Seriously folks, calm down. You knew before E3 2002 that the next PSO was a card battle game. It's not really that bad and it's a nice change for the usual hack and slash action of PSO. I think it will be a good game.

Everyone just has multiple opinions, but it's just that there's a major whiplash of them. PSO World is split up on Episode 3.

Anywho, it's not like you have to get the game.

IMHO: There's already a thread for Episode 3 opinions, and I bet this'll get locked.

If I had the link to that thread, I would have used it.

I reakon the prob is, is that those who are complaining about it have proabably, never played a card game in their life, and thus don't realise how exciting it can be.

pro card battler + pro card battler = one bloody good game http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I love card games and that's why I'm optimistic about this PSO.

It's not a card game like you people seem to think it is. You don't play cards against other players. There are battles just like any other RPG, just using a card element in them. You're still on a team with up to 3 other people, fighting monsters. It's just that now it's turn based.

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

After seeing more and more shots of the game, it's not looking that bad. Not until we hear a lot more about the actual gameplay, I'll keep my hopes up.

There's not too much info on it at the moment...people need to WAIT and see how it turns out. Who knows, the game might have the "Wind Waker effect."

I'm going to try it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

The thing that pisses people off is it's being called PSO EPISODE III - for those who are complacent with the current gaming engine that scares the hell out of them - they should have left the Episode III out of it, and marketed it as a totally seperate, unique game all it's own set in the PSO universe!

Sega has gotten lazy anyway, it's much easier to develop turn based than real time combat.

They could have elaborated on pso's current engine, including new combos, linked combos, the ability to jump, air combos, new spells, new weapon types, new character abilities...but no, sega keeps it real.

REAL DUMB.

Turn based combat I don't mind at all, and the card system could be fun, provided that there's some depth of strategy rather than just a who-has-the-biggest-monster contest. Though, I find it hard to imagine a card-based game meshing well with the existing PSO and its story line.

another Sega Basher o_o
thats why your banned i'm guessing.
Leave Sega alone, they aren't lazy they are working on WAY too many things right now.
i'm happy to know the top thing on their list is getting Sonic to every console. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif
"sonic Heroes, Sonic Heroes"

give Sega a Break, think about another company thats working as hard as they are.
