You mean memory card 251. And no, it's worse than a memory card 59 for PSO. Mine, and my friend's, constantly say they need to be formatted. But if you re-insert the card it's fine. I accidently wiped my whole card this way, everything was gone (at least 15 out of 23 games), including PSO. So now I just put PSO on a lone mem card 59. Besides, the 59's save a tiny bit faster than the 251's. Makes getting out of the double save faster.

well that actually works, i did it last night.
After putting the corrupted card back, press B to return to the character selection then select once again a character to go online, even if you aren't connected. After a while, it will say "connection aborted" then save your file.

My friend used a similar method (maybe the same one) after corrupting online, but... she didn't corrupt during an FSOD, it was a BIZARRE, freakish interal fatal error or something, which caused her to disconnect and then freeze during the save.
She was able to save her character using this method, I'm positive.
A few weeks later though, that trick didn't work at all for her after getting an FSOD corruption. Seems to me like FSOD corruption = death. :/

Any other forms though, it's definitely worth giving that trick a try... my friend was able to salvage her Lv180+ character at the time (now Lv191). WHEW.

hmmm...well i tested it when i needed it the most trying to save my lvl 106 fonewm and lvl 61 humar...didnt work...i tried over and over and over and over and over and over and over....
