how to prevent lily's sudden death in ult cave?

i'm stuck on beating Lily in the ult cave !!!>.< They are so strong and their seize instant kill attack make me busy all the time ~ i dunno how many time i've been killed by those nasty plant ......Is there any way to prevent sudden death ?thx ~!

The only way to prevent the Ob lilly from killing it's self is to kill it fast,

If you dont wanna die try to equip some units to highten your darkness resistance.

equip 3 resist devils this would make ur dark resist 60+ chances it hits u now is 1 in 30

If you stand fairly close to it, it will never spit megid at you, oping for melee attacks. Use a sword or partisan type weapon since it can hit two sections of it at the same time. o_O

Get the Attribute set. My RAcast gets hit with it alot, and I've only died on REALLY rare occasions.

Get the attribute set and be amazed.

at 65 evade dark you become invulnerable to ob lily megid. however-- mil lily megid will still kill you.

best gear would be a light relief and 3 resist devils. then you can worry about getting pounded to snot by vulmers et al.

If you want you absolutely don't want to die from Megid, you could get a frame or armor that provides at least 15 EDK and has 4 slots, 4 Resist/Devils, and a Shield of Delsaber. Put 4 Resist/Devil's in the slots and equip Sheild and your EDK should be at least 100, making you completely invulnerable to all Megid attacks from Ob Lilies, Mil Lilies, Hildetorrs, etc.

What class are you?

If you don't want to fill your slots up with resist devils... I have 3 suggestions

1. Evade mats... yep, run away
2. If you have techs, use those, they can't hit you if you are continously hitting them/Freeze traps
3. Learn how lilies work. What I mean is figure out their pattern, how many times you can hit it before it will spit. I can do a 3 combo with vulcans for example and then if I run around it in circles and wait for it to spit megid, go attack it again. Also make sure to look at your map and check to see what each enemy the dot represents (how many times have you been fighting a vulmar or something when the next thing you realize is you are dead?) I've done so many cave runs now that I know exactly where every lily will be.

thx for all info .. as i thought dark resistance items is not really useful so i never pick them up ....http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif" anyway after hours and hours of ' Campiagn' i finally get to the boss in cave . however i was killed by a hit as well ...( the stick shape bomb that surround u ) so i give up to play cave and do some more practice on forest ~ i'm currently using a Lv71 Ramar and Lv.49 male robot ninja wtever he called .

For the two characters you mentioned, go back and take the time to find a Delsaber's Left Arm and convert it into the delsaber's shield. Next find an armor with 15 EDK which shouldn't be hard at your level, ie. don't pick the Holiness armor since it's got no EDK. Last find one Resist/Devil, 15 EDK. That should put you around 55 EDK I think. You'll be relatively safe for a while, just think of this as practice gear so you can learn how to avoid their Megid's.

With 58 EDK, I've never died once from Ob Lily's Megid, I never have let a Mil Lilly attack me with Megid so I've never had to rely on EDK to save me.

3 Resist/Devils + Shield of Delsaber means less unnecessary deaths from those Megid spits.
If you can't find Resist/Devil units, then get a good armor/frame that has a high EDK rating.
For Da Ra Lie, I'd advise to level up a bit so you won't get beat up by those thorny-looking timed bombs.

Sorry guys, I know this is a bit off topic but just out of curiosity how many other enemies in Ultimate difficulty can use Megid, last I heard there were quite a few. It would also help alot if thier names were listed. Thanks in adavnce.

and there is a megid like cloud that surrounds delbiters when they are about to charge. there may be even more but i have yet to finish knowing one's heart. i am sure there are some i have forgotten or just never encountered.

I can verify this, just with a Delsaber shield and a super resist I was able to survive 6 consecutive lvl 25 megids from a force. But then again its just luck.

I know from the Lily room in Waterfall Tears you cannot die from Megid if your Dark resistance is 88. At least, not unless there's a Mil in the group buffing up the Megid power...Solin got hit by a bunch of Megid blasts while I was piping briefly today and didn't die. Oh, here's the defensive gear he had equipped: Guard Wave, Delsaber's Shield, Devil/Resist(3x), Cure/Paralysis.

Other beasts that use Megid: Del Lily (all difficulties), Ultimate Zol Gibbons, Ultimate Deldepths (who also cast Gibarta, I think), Mil Lilies, Ultimate Falz. Zol Gibbons have the weakest Megid, of course, and Mils have stronger Megid than the Ob Lilies. Falz doesn't have uber powerful Megid, and the Del Lilies probably have variable strengths based on the difficulty level - but don't quote me on that.
