I'm tired of hearing people say bassically "duping is evil!" well,its not its now part of the game if you wanna be ledgit good for you if you wanna be a duper and use all of your prized duped items thats good too.Ledgits dont have to like dupers and dupers dont have to like ledgits but please SHUT-UP I dont give a care if you all hate dupers guts!if you think that they are wrong in what they are doing then TOO BAD!The fact is duping is part of the game and it will never end.

I kinda have to agree with this. People'll do what they want, u won't change ur mind by bitching and annoying people. U'll just make people mad. Every1 can and will do what they want and they can and will find a way to do it. That's the way it is. I don't know how there can be arguing over duping and being legit, cause it's totally opinionated. So y argue? 1) People will never solve the Legits Vs. Cheaters topic by arguing with each other. People will also never stop duping. Why admit that people will do whatever they want, so let them keep duping, but try to tell people to stop arguing about it? It's just like duping in the way that it's never going to stop because people like doing it.

2) Duping is not just "another part of the game", it's a hardware exploit. If Sonic Team had intended for players to be able to dupe they would have created an NPC or something that would dupe items for you. "Hey! You've got some really good quality material there! Let me dupe it for you!"

i believe in sonic teams terms of service for pso it says not take advantage of a bug which is exactly what duping is. I'm not sure but i think that terms of service is legal stuff so you a could potentially be arrested for duping since it is breaking the rules. just a thought. I am legit by the way.

Eagle, you must realize that the majority of PSO World users do not, and will not agree with duping. You must also understand that our standpoints about it are much more logical and reasonable than those who agree with it. It is an exploit, which was never intended to be there, but some jack-off found anyways and ruined the game for those who encourage duping, directly or indirectly.

i pretty much agree. i use dupes on my humar and i dont really care. most of the rare items in the game are duped anyway.even if u try to be legit, in the end you will end up getting a weapon from someone that u think is legit and is duped. oh well. thats all i got to say.

They're RARE items. They're seen too often; too frequently. They have a value: rare and sentimental. We're supposed to be impressed by the sight of them, because they're not supposed to be seen so often. We should be using Kaladbolgs in Ultimate because of their rarity value. Umm... I don't think that Kaladbolgs are realy all that rare... I have 6 offline totally legit. Unless it's because yellowboze finds them alot. Were you referring to Gae Bolg? Are those even rare?

I once saw a thing and it was a tutorial for PSO and it said the game has 3 aspects.

1. killing monsters and gaining experience
2. chatting wiuth various people
3. DUPLICATING ITEMS

eagle its that "we cant stop it" attitude that allows it continue. Do what you like offline just dont bring it to the web.

Walking round your home naked is ok if you wish but dont do it outside as it offends others.

Dupe/hak offline all you want but dont ruin my search for rares by bringing them online.

No difference. If you think an item is haked bin it, trading was introduced to help poeple with different id's find things. Like the previous reply said, if it was meant to be in the game there would be an NPC to do it for you.

Oh, that was an awful argument! What does attitude have to do with this? There's a self-confessed duper in PSO World's forums and we don't say anything bad about him. He doesn't brag. If dupers hated us, there'd be non-stop flame wars in PSO. THINK about your reasons.

Duping exsits for the enjoyment of some people. With dreamcast i did it all the time.

Duping doesn't affect everyone. If you don't dupe, it doesn't affect you. If you don't accept duped items, it doesn't affect you. Why care and constantly argue about something that doesn't affect you?

You see people duping in a game and you don't like it, you can always leave. No one is forcing you to stay in a room with the dupers.

ok, so you join a game with peeps with stuff like this, you can always leave... you don't like something, you can always leave. The online thing is meant to build a community, you will always have the "bad" kids and the "good" kids. Remember high school? Remember all the people who just sat outside school and smoked weed all day? considered the bad kids? You never went by them, unless you were apart of them, and they didn't affect you. Just like the dupers and people who use dupe stuff. Don't go by them and they wont cause any problems for you.

If that's true, then you shouldn't have a problem finding people who don't dupe or use duped items so duping shouldn't be a big problem for you.

What about the duper? Duping is like boycotting: if you refused the duped item, then you discourage the duper. The more that happens, the more of a chance the duper will get it in his/her head to stop.

Actually, I play with strangers most of the time. I kinda think that there's a link between dupe users and their poor playing skills.

Eagle, just drop it and be legit. Duping is just for the lazy people who don't feel like spending all that time finding their own items. They have to get stuff the easy way. I have around 15 of some of my rares, but I have never duped and I never plan to becuase it is DUMB!
