hello everyone, i hv a pretty big problem here. I was playing PSO I & II on GC everyday on my friends GC and his memory card... but after a time i just buyed my own pso game for gc and a modem. but now i wanna move the character (not the whole character file but only my own character) to my memory card... so i dont want to copy it but i want to move one character from memory card nr.1 to nr.2... is this possible ?

i dont think that's possible..
pso keep 3 files in the mem. card for ur game
moving only the char file will make it unuseable on the new card.. u need the system file & guild file also..

The actual problem here is that you can't copy the character file. You would be fine if you could get the game, start it and create the necessary files, and then replace the character file by the one of your friend's where you character is. But it's copy-protected, so I guess you will have to do it by other means.

i'm pretty sure you can do it with multiplayer offline mode since if you have a character in slot b you have to put it in the temp space then you can write from the temp space to either card....i would have to try it to tell you for sure tho...i will try when i get off work

I tried for a very long time to move characters to no avail I personally believe that without means of hacking it is impossible.

I feel that you SHOULD be able to move the file. I understand why you can't, (hacking, cheating, and such), but still.

it is not possible. sorry, you have to start from level 1.

I heard from a friend that he was able to clone his character, but without the items. It went something like this:

-Transfer character from Memory Card 2 to 1.
-Don't put it back, cancel the transfer.

Put your items on another character before doing that, though. And maybe you can only use your character in Multi Mode after that. I'm not sure, let me ask him again before trying out.
