Kiddy Porn = BAD!

Some irritating bastard has taken the liberty of signing up my E-mail to zillions of sickening porn mailing lists. Kiddy porn does not make a happy Cappy!

I do not opening up an e-mail with a misleading header such as "Your (Insert something I might have signed up for a while ago) Account) and seeing 5 year olds having sex with donkeys! Every day I get more and more shit like this! And just recently I had 400 pieces of spam in my inbox, 90% of which was either: Penis Enlargement pills(or similar products), kiddy porn(or other sick porn), virus/worm/trojan/etc, porn newsletter.

I know, some people say "Change your E-mail." But it's not that simple, I've got a few friends who I don't remember the E-mail addresses of, but they know mine. And I'm waiting for them to contact me so I can get their E-mail... And until then, I must open my inbox to "XXX HOT Child raped by daddy and loving it". I'm really disgusted!

I don't know WHAT kind of sick bastard would find sending some person endless child porn funny. But whoever they are, I've somewhere got a text file with their IP address in it...

But I really find it disgusting that there are so many child porn vendors on thye internet. Bloody sickos! I just can't see the appeal in this...

Also, just ignore any attachments you don't know. It's not that hard. I mean, how guillible do you have to be to open up so many child porn emails?

i'm sure there's an appropriate group that you can report child pornography to.

if nothing else, you should report them, and maybe look into filtering out spam from your inbox with a custom filter (any title with xxx or such things may be a good start)

That was what happened to my first Hotmail account. I kept getting e-mails full of penises and semen shots. I finally got rid of that account. Also, isn't child porn illegal? You could report or blackmail all those companies that send you those e-mails.

Just delete it off your computer, then perform a full hard drive reformat. Or get some software which permanently removes porn and other dodgy content.

If your country is anything like the UK, you could go to prison and be put on the peadophile register for life *just for having the data on the HD*. Even if it's deleted - a computer tech can easily find deleted data, in fact many of them actually look for it in a crusade against child porn.

DON'T even admit to seeing it. You were stupid to post all over this site that you did. Plus, it's made a lot of people feel ill.

Trust me, even if you contact the police and say you never looked at these mails, this leaves you open for them to confiscate your comp and weed through all the data. Many mail programs will certainly mark that data as read, too.

It's funny, I use hotmail and I don't get any porn ads. n_n

I used to get enlargement spam (what would I buy them for, a friend?), but that's because I signed up for everything (not porn sites, just boards and such) with that e-mail. I keep two now, one for actual messages from friends and one to sign up to everything with. Works well enough.

You might wish to know that even after a full hard drive format, the feds can still what you had on your hard drive. While they cannot actually view the files, they can see their names and sizes.

Truly, the only way to completely remove stuff from your hard drive is to beat it to a bloody pulp, and even then you might not win.

Info can still be recovered. My freinds a CJ major and he was telling me about this. In the US, CT at least, you can be arrested for having in your email box, even though you didnt view or request it. Just simply because it's in you possetion. They can, but won't prosocute for this. Just delete your junk mail, you've done nothing wrong and no ones gonna hunt you down for getting a nasty email you didn't want.

As far as completely getting rid of all info on a hard drive, incinerating is about the only way to do it. 1500 degrees+ will pretty much get rid of anything.

I obviously don't open anything marked "Hot XXX 7yearold raped by daddy, check out!"... But as I said before, I am expecting E-mails from a several friends I forgot the addresses of, and they don't live in the US so I can't contact them any other way. So, I'm forced to check out all E-mails that contain headers like "What's Happening Dawg" or something like that, all of which so far have been something I wish I'd rather not have seen.
Also, the Kiddy porn is not an attachment, it's done through HTML. I can't help seeing it when I open an E-mail.
And I'll let that small penis remark slide. But I'll simply say that you're greatly wrong, holmes.


And some of you people are overreacting a wee bit. I mean if I get in trouble for anything on my computer, it won't b the kiddy porn that I've got hidden far deep in the bowels of my HDD that were part of porn spam and all contain graphics reading "Click here" or something of the sort, but more likely some of the various cracks, hacks, and other Sub-legal stuff belonging to me.

i'm sure you only need something with a form of DOS present to be able to use the DELTREE command.
but, i'm not sure if that removes records of the files existance, or overwrites the data area where it was, so that it truely is gone.

your processor can be replaced, a new motherboard can be plugged in, and the drivers installed.
all they really need is the actual HARD DISK, not the computer, as that can be removed and plugged into another system, so that you can access the data if the rest of the computer is totalled.

so what about the software that they boast can survive reformatting, and be found again? (like with some tracking software i saw boasted, for theft victims... if its on, even a reformating session wouldn't erradicate it, apparently. there would still be traces of it.)

Dammir, I don't intend to reformat... I'm not trying to get rid of the remains of the child porn that has laced my e-mail and most likely ended up on my HDD. I'm simply stating that I hate the fuck who's decided sign me up for every kiddy porn mailing list out there...

The only absolute way is to incinerate it untill it's a nothing more then a pile of smuldering ashes. My freind studied this and the FBI can extract info off a hard disk if you reformat, write to zero, delete everything, or even if you swipe it with a magnet. That last one surprised me, I thought that would totally ruin everything but I geuss they can still get info off it.
