A question about rares?

My question is where do most people find their legit rares(i'm against dupers and cheaters) I would like to know where they can be found so that i can start my search.

I found my first rare, Delsaber's Right Arm, in (where else?) Ruins on normal. I've also found a couple Photon Claws in the Mines on normal. Delsabers, Sinow Beats, Pan Arms, Chaos Bringers, and Chaos Sorcerers all drop items that can become weapons. Easiest place to get other rares are after beating a boss, but your likely to find a Varista or DB's Saber (seemingly the two most common rares).

Side note about rares : There seems to be one monster per area that drops a body-part rare... perhaps there's one for the forest? (not counting Mag cells).

It depends what you're looking for. If you want a Chain Sawd or real Agito you need to join a Skyly game. If you want force rares and a lot of spells join Pinkal. If you want armor join Redria. If you want Spread Needle join Viridia. If you want Kaladgolg join Yellowboze. Vjaya or Soul Banish join Bluefull. Twin Brand, Cross Scar, or Stag Cutlery join Oran... That should keep you busy for a while heh.
