This is much like the BSOD, but a lot worse. If you are playing in a game where a player can use the Player Hit function and are going up or down any telepipe or portal when they do a player hit your DC will freeze. You can still hear music but instead of a complete black out your screen gets a black tint.(meaning you can still see the room you were going to but its faded black). The softboot does not work neither does pulling the phone cord. Also if your idle disconnect is set that does not help either. This happen to me yesterday and I recreated it on 3 friends. When you shut off the DC you lose all unequiped items but u retain exp and time played. If anyone has any info on this please respond.
