what did you do once you've hit level 100? i've just hit it today, felt great finally reaching that milestone, but then i suddenly lost the urge to play. i sort of feel like reaching this level was my main goal, and now that i've reached it, i feel this empty void. should i just become one of those people who hunt for rares now? or should i just retire my beloved character and start a new one? so i guess my question is, for those of you who have reached level 100 (legitimately), what did you do after reaching that milestone?
peace...

There is life after 100. I started a new Danger Girl with a new outfit and a new section ID. I just typed the name in a little differently. I also kept the original, so when I feel like kicking a little butt, I just pop in my other VMU. I think you'll find it kinda refreshing to start over. I just hope I have better results with this section ID than the last one (I have Greenhill....is that any good?)
/me whips out worthless PSO Guidebook...
Greenill: You'll find Rifle-series weapons more frequently and earlier in Greenill. Daggers are more common too, but swords are very rare.

it depends on your choice.
as for mine...
i've decided to just keep my lv.100 HUcast, Zantetsu, and go treasure hunting.
some people's goal is to just reach their maximum level. BUT have they maxed out their stats yet? well...that's another goal.
others prefer to continue living on PSO as their special professions.
take my friends and i for example.
Melody wishes to be a "mag breeder".
Kalel wishes to be the strongest PSO player. Pottle wishes to be the strongest magic user. and i wish to be a "weapons collector".
we all have different dreams on PSO. it's simply up to you to decide your character's fate...

Shucks! Stupid green section ID. Oh well it matches the color of my eyes http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif. I want to get one of those swords that look like a diamond http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif. What is that called? er...ah...something cannon. Is it Lavis Cannon? Anyway diamonds are a Danger Girls best friend http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif.

I hit 100 February 16th, and I'm still playing as Sheogorath. Now, I have another character, a level 46 Newman Huntress, but I don't like the magic hotkey system.
However, I found a reason to keep playing.
Give people good gaming experiences.
Thats my goal. Like tonight, for instance. I brought together my Non-Pso World freinds with my PSO-world friends, and had them meet each other. Now they all exchanged cards, and have formed a bond http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
That REALLY made me happy.
not only that, but today I found the two best PSO players in the game:
Azrael, a 99 RAmar, and Silo5, a level 56? HUcast.
Zaraeal, like me, uses a Photon Efficient Meteor Smash (No spreads!!) and Silo5, at level 56, went through an ENTIRE V. Hard game with me and only died once. Keep in mind, he had a Raygun +15.
So whats my motivation? Brining together people who deserve good gaming partners, giving people a reason to log on, and giving people a person they can trust, both inside, and outside of the game.
I bet Azrael will see this, and ask why I'm not in bed. Long story http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif
What is it that girls find soo appealing about shiny, hard rocks... forget it, I've said too much.

I actually find contentment helping newbies around. Mind you I'm not 100 lvl yet, I'm only on 88. But I go on a normal game, ask if they needed help levelling up, cause major distraction for the enemies by running laps circles on the enemies or standing in front blocking all their strikes while the newbies shoot or stab them. It's quite fun actually. They get major exp on bosses cause all they have to do it hit it once and I go kill it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Thats easy Spy. Diamonds are forever. Were as a man just pops into your life. Try's to get what he's REALLY after *wink, wink* when he either gets it, or finds out it ain't gonna come easy, he's out the door.
Just kidding. I know there's alot of you guys out there who arn't pigs http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif.

hey Sheogorath!!!
i'm the "Azrael" level 99 ramar character you were playing with. once you left though, i reached level 100 shortly after with your friend. well, someone else on this forum already took the name "Azrael," so i had to join as "Azra_el" but anyways, thanks for the praise. too bad you couldn't stay on to beat dark falz with us. but there's always next time. btw...to those of you who showed Sheogorath no love that one time he posted asking if any pso world peeps wanted to join him to play, you missed out. because this guy is one of the most unselfish players that i've ever had the pleasure to play with. it's people like him that will keep me coming back to play pso again and again.
peace...

I honestly don't remember anyone being rude with me here. Where is this post you are talking about?
Anyway, if some people responded smartly, hey, I can't please everyone. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
Ever hear the phrase that you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs? Well you can't make friends without first making a few enemies http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
I will say this, I have seen a few of the "big names" here, and at least they do give me a warm hello. I know Sciler/Akumi snuck up on me and said hello with a smile, so that was very cool.
So how did you and my friend Tikkiswarr get along Az? She's really cool, and was one of the few people who would trust me during that first week the level 100 cheat came out.
I have a philosophy when playing PSO, or any online game for that matter:
Work towards giving people in your game a good experience, and you'll gain something better then a great weapon, an incredible piece of armor, or a ton of gold/meseta.
You'll gain a friend.
Cheesy? Maybe http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif But it's true.

Once I hit level 100, I kept playing for a good five hours and then I shut the DC off because I was lacking sleep. A while later, after doing things concerned with real life, I started playing again... !@#$ing addiction! I'm still trying to max out my stats... have defense and luck still left to go, and it seems to be a long way off. What more, I created a second HUnewearl, and a RAcaseal. Just wanted to try the game with different section IDs, and hope for some rare items.
And, Danger girl... sex is just a bonus (seems more like an afterthought).

After hitting 100, my next goal was to max all my stats. Finishing all my stats, other than HP and TP is not easy to someone who doesn't just get a friend to dupe a bunch of materials. It's been 330 hours now, any my HP and TP are apparently never going to max.
Other goals have included 250 hours, 300 hours, and now 350 hours (in hope of better iitems).
Other goals have included 3 million exp, then 4 million, then 5 million, and now its 7 million.
Another goal I am aspiring for is to find my own items. Since I decided this, I set out to give away all the items I didn't find myself, including the god/battle, rare weapons, spread needle, and soniti that I evolved using a mag cell I traded for. Doing this also clears your conscience a lot. =]
Btw, since I gave away all my stuff, I found my own sacred guard, 4 slot holiness, invis guard, 3 double sabers (one with good %), a photon claw, crappy fields w/0 slots, a 55% dark varista, and boy does it feel good.
Don't start a new character, race me to 9 million exp. first!

Got a feeling of "the end of the road" as I reached level 90. I tend to be the type that play for good friends & company, as opposed to treasure hunting, I decided to start building a second character so I can play with other players who are on their 3rd, 4th, 7th characters who are at lower levels. Even though experience is not a big thing to me, I'm also afraid that thing might be less intriguing once I hit that 100 mark.
And just to make the game more interesting for both my old and new characters, I've handed over my MAG and lots of good items to the 2nd character to help her get started. It was actually much more fun than I anticipated.
On the plane yesterday I wrote out a guide on what I did to help raise my 2nd character too, hope those who are interested will get some insights out of it.
To me leveling up really is part of the fun, so starting a new character is definitely the way to go.

Well, after hitting Lv 100 I played a little while longer, in a quest to get more materials. I maxed out almost everything, but it quickly grew tedious so I decided instead to focus on collecting weapons. I tried and tried and tried and realized Purplenum just ain't good at finding rares so I made a new character. And I'm actually having fun now that I have spells. I suggest to anyone that has never tried another character to do it, because I never had any interest in techs before, and suddenly I'm having a lot more fun than I ever did with my other character. It's all about playing the game differently and I think just about every char has their own style. Still, I do keep my Lv 100 char in the rare times when I just want to demolish stuff. lol

I play my level 100 FONewman occasionally to treasure hunt, but I started a new HUcast for fun. (He's only gonna use what he finds too, no hand-me-downs or trading)

I'm lv97...almost there... I'm proly just going to stick with this character for a while. Heh, used to think I'd start a new char when I hit lv94 or so because of all those biased people that call lv100s cheaters. But I've found the people on Puck9, and Elara16 friendly. ^_^
I'll make a new character eventually, but I enjoy just hanging out with friends, looking for items, and helping lower levels.
Oh Az...where'd ya go yesterday? I said I'd be back in about 10 min but you were gone... :/

Hey Azrael, heh. As you know I've been level 100 for some time now and I don't feel like my playtime with this character is over yet... I just feel like I need to find more rare items with him first before he's "complete". It wouldn't feel right if I started using my other character immediately.

Since hitting 100, my Hucast now has 2 younger sisters to take care of. In-between item hunting and raising money (2 more mouths to feed) he likes breeds mags and anytime a friend or one of his sisters needs help, for example: being picked on by the local bully, Dark Falz, he goes out of retirement and proceeds to "chastise" Dark Falz, preferably with a big gun. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

hey everyone: thanks for all of your responses and replies. i've created 2 new characters. one is a humar named "Sir Lancelot" (i know, very unoriginal name), and a fomarl named "Julia." but i'll still use my ramar character "Azrael" for awhile before i fully start playing with my other 2 newly created characters. i think i will also start growing my 5 other mags and even go hunting for rare monsters/weapons/armor/disks/materials/mag cells to make Azrael all that he can be. you have all convinced me that there is LIFE after level 100...
peace...
hey sheogorath: i think your friend tikkiswarr and i didn't totally trust each other after you left. because she invited one of her friends to join us to battle dark falz. but after i revived them both on multiple occasions while fighting dark falz, i think we built a trusting relationship with one another. hope we can go hunting on ragol again soon.
hey ukyou: sorry about not staying on to play. after you left, spike and i started to play together with one other person (can't remember his name right now), anyways, this one character "wario64" tried to join in, but i think he got stuck or something, because we just sat there waiting and waiting for him to warp in, but then i remembered that i had to go to the post office and 2 different banks before they closed that day, so i just disconnected from the game. later on that night, i went online again, and played with sheogorath, but he said that you had just left. but anyways, sorry about not waiting for you to get back. we'll play together again sometime yeah?
hey spike: could i ask you another favor? to possibly help me evolve my mag into churel using the cell of mag 213 (which i found last night playing v.hard forest 2 offline). let me know ok? and give me a range of time on when you'll be online tonight and tomorrow. i might not be able to play pso tonight, since i have a paper that's due tomorrow.

Hey Azrael, you know, thats sad, but it's true that you have to earn people's trust on PSO. I don't care what a person reads about a player, or hears about them, but no one fully trusts anyone until they see their kindness in action. I'm sure Tikki was very happy you helped her http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif And I will say this HONESTLY for ALL of the PSO board to hear: Azrael is the king when it comes to teamwork. He will make sure that you are ALWAYS buffed (Shifta/deband) and heals VERY frequently. He is, without a doubt, the one guy I'd want behind me in a fight. (With Emperor Rage and Silo5 making up the other 2)
Anyhoo, brown nosing aside (hehe) I think it's great when someone who doesn't trust you learns that they can, and then suddenly, you watch them equip their REAL weapon, and start playing more agressively, knowing that they won't fear dropping their stuff.
I know tonight, me and my friend Brian were playing with Chaz here from the boards. Chaz loaned Brian his mag so brian could read the level 6 Grants disk he had. He got a little mad (chaz did) and told Brian to give back the mag, but brian did (He's a good bud of mine) and the two traded guild cards and began to trust one another. Thats how it starts. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
