a lot of people probably know about the beat-time system. but for those who don't, i wanna share this info with the rest of you. i'm just doing this for the heck of it and to help those in need...umm...okay. you guys will need some math to do this one.
anyways, here's how it goes (get a calculator ready):
let...
'a' = current hour (24-hour time), EX. 6:00pm = 18 hours
'b' = current minute
'c' = current seconds
'd' = elapsed seconds within 24-hour time period (24 hours = 86400 seconds)
now the first calculation...
equation:
(a x 3600) + (b x 60) + c = d
second equation:
d / 86.4 = 'current beat time' (round off)
a beat is equal to 1 minute and 26.4 seconds
well...i hope this info will help some of you.
anyways...
