Im not a newbie to PSO, i have been playing it since March 01, when ver 1 came out on Dreamcast, but i never used to play it online. So i dont know much about hackers and cheaters in PSO, And in this forum everyone is talking about duping? I dont understand what Duping is, is it cloning weapons?

Basicly, yes. Its not really a bad thing when its done in a little groups of friends. But when its done alot and with the rarest weapons practicly handed out for nothing... lets just say that PSO's economy is messed up.

pity PSO doesn't have much other cheating to discuss why don't they name this forum Duper Abuse or Duper/Legit arguments (if you've checked the other threads you'll know what I'm saying
Duping is basically the short form of duplicating, or rather cloning. What happens is that when someone finds a rare, they make copies of it and trade to people for more rares. I think this ruins the item's rareness.
Some people come into rooms and say they are dupers, and get everyone to give him their rare items (yes, there are people that stupid and greedy!). Then he just happens to leave the room, and never come in contact with him again.

Thats just plain stupid, I hope Duping gets stopped once and for all, and soon. Before the entire economy is f***ed up

Technically, the person is what they claim to be. A duper.
They 'duped' people into believing them. ^_^;;
