Here's the situation. I was using my GC at my uncle's house for a couple of months. During that time I was online. Everything worked fine, it was hard-wired. Now I'm back home and we had to go wireless. I've plugged in my GC Broadband adapter into the Wireless Ethernet Bridge, but everytime I try to logon it comes up with the error: "Connection Attempt Failed. Failed to recieve IP address from DHCP." Oh, and if it makes any difference I'm using RoadRunner.

Sorry nevermind. I found out my problem. I forgot to buy an access point device.

Well... I'm a little tired of this now... I got the device and it turns out that was not the problem. I had the filesystem on the Ethernet Bridge wrong. Now the only problem is I still get the same error message, however the WLAN is up now. Can someone please help. Usually I can figure these things out but I went to sleep at 6AM and had to wake up at 8:30AM. My brain is too tired to think this out.

Could you give some more details about how you are trying to connect?

I'm online again! The configuration chanel was wrong. That simple little thing... Oh, well thanks for your help on this and my other questions. PSO is a great community as long as you keep away from certain 'groups.' But, all in all it's worth that little bit of annoyance to meet some really great people from places you may have never been. See you online!
