Question on MST

I have a quick question. I made a FOmar just to mess around with, so this may already be known to all the FO players.

Can you trick weapons that have an MST equip requirement?

Here's my example. My FO has an MST of 465 with his Rati equipped, not enough to equip Talis (475 MST). Now, when i equip my Hildebear Cane, it boosts my MST to 500, enough to equip Talis. So, as a test, i equipped Talis right from the Hildebear Cane, just to see what happens. Now i have Talis equipped, but it's greyed out, although, on Ragol, i can still use it.

Is this supposed to happen? Does it work with other weapons?

I guess that's a bug in the game. You equip weapons that boost your MST to equip other weapons that you normally wouldn't have enough to. Just be careful, I've done that before and when I used a fluid or something, it unequiped the weapon.

Yeah, i noticed that when i feed my mag, it de-equips.

That bug always ...well, bugs me. I don't know why. It makes no sense. Or maybe it does... Meh.

...And that's an adorable Rati. ^_^ Does it have a name? *pets it* *gets Pilla-ed by own Rati* Ack! Now, now, Fluffy, you know I'm loyal to you, I was just being friendly. ^_^;;; Yes, you're still cutest. Silly thing. ^_^

Well, i have lots of practice making Rati's, though, this was my first mind Rati. Typically i make Rati's for Androids. And yes, they all match their characters.

Off topic, there's no mention in any of the Mag Guides about Rati's assorted colors. Sato get's a gallery all to itself, but not Rati...

hhmm, maybe i should make one.
