well it's sorta cheating, cause there is a major advantage to it:

you can equip armor and shields that have higher level requirements.

i did try the code today, it was a little buggy, but it was fun using my hunter and running around with funky looking little force wands and giant rager rifles. it confused a lot of ppl. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

My Rule is, anything you do in a game that comes from an extra piece of software (Trainers for Diablo, Gamesharks in PSO) or something you gain from exploiting bugs (Script-leveling in "The Realm" or "Duping" In Diablo 1/2/PSO) is considered cheating

I'm not one to judge, if someone paid 50 bucks for a game, hey, knock yourself out. (Just don't do it in my games!)

However Malcolm, there is an item that lets you equip anything, and you might have it confused with a GS cheat.

It's a slot item called GOD/EQUIP and it lets anyone equip any item, regardless of class restrictions.

Does the God/Equip REALLY exist? I heard it before but I have a hard time finding it... And i know it is a very very very rare item...

no, if you dont cheat then you are not a cheater. i have friends online who cheat/dupe.

i also dont think that if you take an item from them as a gift that you should really be considered a cheater, as long as you dont go off and trade it or dupe it.

but that's jus my opinion and opinions tend to vary.

some ppl would call me a cheater, but i have never "cheated" for any kind of gain, i only do things (like the equip any item code) to screw around and to take a little break from the everyday monoteny of v-hard ruins.

Nah, if those people are friends of yours, and you enjoy playing with them, whats wrong with that? Friends are something you want to keep, and if you enjoy their company, and can look past their soniti mags and Lavis Cannons, Then more power to ya!

I had a few friends who have messaged me as of late, and ask me if they can dupe my items. I *politely* tell them that I want to avoid that, and that I'm sorry, but I am strict about my code of "purity". Melfice, one of my old running buddies, did this, and after I told him no, he has yet to message me at all.

Unless you're going to use that GOD/Equip item, it falls intot he definition of cheating.

eFirst of all Mina don't be silly your no cheater. In fact I think you are to be congradualted. If your hanging around with duper friends, and yet stick to your priciples, You are no cheater! You are strong!

I do want to take issue with you fOgre. The equip code is cheating (any "cheat code" is cheating silly), but I'll let that slide since its not exactly destructive. However taking duped items as gifts is no different that duping them yourself. I do appreciate you not spredding your garbage around thoughhttp://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif. God/Equip does not exist. It was a excuse created by lamer-hackers.
