GC: "It's Official, Theres Too Many Dupers On PSO"

I was online a couple days ago and a girl was talking to me, she said that she was given numerous amounts of items like Orotiagito's and Black King Bars +80. She kept going on and on about how bad dupers were it was getting annoying, so I invited her to go level with me. She agreed, and we played in the Mines until she died, I had no moons atomizers so I set a pipe and went back to town. She then said she needed a couple God/Power's, so I offered to trade. She said that she didn't need to but what she wanted was just a couple seconds. She walked over to the shop area and started slowy hesitating towards the blue shop, then she ran over to the bank and about three God/Power's and other God items dropped from her as she told me to stay back. I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she was just making some new ones =) just like that.

This happened once again yesterday, a short HUmar was in a game called "Shop Trick" I entered the game and saw that the HUmar was a very high level, much to high to be a USB duper online, I asked him what he was doing and he said "Oh nothing".He had ran over to the bank by the time I got there, and once again started dropping numorous uber, uber rare items like Magic Water, and Rikka's Claws, being me I picked up a few http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif. He said after I picked them up, "HEY GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY DUPES!"

Later that day I felt like making a game, I named it,come all dupers! As I did this 3 dupers entered right after that, as one left another came, this went on for like 20 minutes, each of them prooving they could dupe, I must have came across about 13 dupers. So now I can say It's Official, Theres Too Many Dupers On PSO.

Let's just be happy that duping is the only thing going around in PSO GC, at least it's not as bad compared to all the cheating happening in PSOX..

Yeah, you do that. That will be real effective. And while you're at it, write to President Bush and respectfully request he end hunger in the world. Sega is aware of the problem, they don't need Jr. Spy Hunters helping them investigate. Also consider the fact that the newer dupe method works offline as well. You can't patch against that. You can reset everything on a GC. And short of sending out THOUSANDS of new disks for players to use, which they wouldn't how do you propose Sega stops the duping? Best case scenario they stop it from happening online, other than that you better get used to it.

If you are referring to me, you should really get your facts straight before piping up. I have NEVER distributed my dupes. Its true I use them for trades to collect items I don't have, but there is a HUGE difference between someone who dupes items for themselves and someone who goes into lobbies announcing games like FREE RARES or I DUPE 4 U. I don't hand out items ever or offer to dupe things for other people. In fact if we were online together, you would never know in a million years because my chars I use are 100% legit. BTW I should add, that after rereading your post GetIntoTheGame, I may have misinterpreted what you said. If you were referrring to the fact that someone you know submitted names to Sega about dupers than I apologize, if you were actually talking about me then what I said still stands.

Well hacking could be another issue, what if there was another thing like the shop trick for example you could do in the lobby to freeze up other people's games. I know it might never happen, and lets hope it won't, but it'll spread within days how to do it. FSODX would be happening quite more often and what is ST trying to do about it? Like Violet said Sega isn't going to produce thousands upon thousands of game discs so that it will be pathced, and even if they did what the hell stops those who decide to play the other disc? Even on the other one, (the one ST WONT out) they'll figure out another way, so I say sit on it and shit it out your mouth!(southpark hehehe). I dont mind the duping..I do it myself(hahaha, but dont ask, I wont tell(VioletSkye)hahaha), but the thing I hate is when I go to trade and then the person does the shop trick saying they dont have an extra. A friend of mine is currently trying to figure out ways to dupe offline. Nothing successful so far, but if I could get online I'd just keep what I could to myself. Ofcourse my friends tried alot of different things. Lost all his items in the process once. Nothing that he couldn't replace within the day though. But his theories so far. You can only dupe online. Materials...thats the big thing he wants. He's saving luck materials just for that.

heh I learned to accept duping as a part of the game. Generally the main thing i hunt for are weapons with awesome %s on them seeing as there will always be something new to hunt for.

well the only thing I do is go to feedback and say there are cheating. I think if a lot I mean A LOT more people did this some dupers would be banned. ANd there r ways to stop stuff. FOr x-box with a nefty built in harddrive you could have a downloadable patch you would have to download if you wanted to get play online.Ok delete the patch...cool but you would have to download it again to play online and when you did it would check for dup items. If there are dup ERASE THE WHOLE FREAKIN CHARATOR. I think its a pretty simple soultion if someone at sega knows how to do it. What gets me is people say duping takes skill or wahtever and try to morliaze it. its CHEATING plain and simple. If you were meant to dupe they would have given an option with in the game to do it.

all you need is a patch to null that NPC in the shop, make it mandatory when you come online. if they cant talk to that girl, they cant do the dupe method. Also make it so it would corrupt data when you would delete it so they cant.

one of the worst hacking/duping/cheating games is diablo II Lord of Destruction, it has the biggest hackers on it, theres 2 battle.net connections, 1 where ur aload to hack and 1 where ur not, aparrently ppl found a way to get around tht...now theres gota be billions of ppl hacking on the b,net server instead the hacking server

Uhhhh not sure where you got your info, but its completely wrong, you can FSOD people easily if you know how. Meet me online sometime and I'll show you. In fact I'll be on later tonight. PM me and we'll set up a time and place to meet. The reason being, its ignorant to think that the GC is immune to hacking (well exploiting in this case anyway).

Also BNET has been exploited almost from day one, which was over 2 years ago. Hell I wrote a few cheats for it myself along with a few D2Hackit modules. I also made some of the best mods on the net for it. Some killer drops mods, a nice Boss mod, and a Full Sets Drop mod that made a specific monster drop a complete set ie. Zombies dropping all of Natalyas set.

Well when you are a USB duper I doubt that your level 170, with that actual duping character. Most USB dupers are level 1-40 because if there online with that character (who dupes) there most likley duping not leveling.
