Is the items database horribly wrong, or am I just on crack? According to it the Double Cannon has more ATP and ATA than the BKB, which would make it a bit better. Does the BKB have some uber special or something? Or is the Double Cannon in actuality really better and nobody bothers to know it because it's too much of a PITA to make a legit Double Cannon to widely dupe?
And everyone with sense knows that the best weapon is a 50% or higher Hit Charge Vulcan, anyways. :-P Of course, style is a factor too. :-P Besides, if I wanted to use mechgun types I'd be a friggin' Ranger, not a Hunter. I like sharp pointy things and going hack-hack. ^_^ And if you know what you're doing you can safely melee anything, even large groups, with a saber-type...
And of course I'm still quite fond of my Orochi Agito... It ties into the style thing, Ian-Kun X looks a bit like a Samurai with the way his outfit is and his hairstyle. Doesn't hurt that it's a nice nasty weapon, too... ATP ain't everything, but it gets tiresome after a while when you barely damage anything with your crappy Gladius and Raygun. ^_-; Mmm. Orochi Agito/Lavis Cannon, Red Handgun and Demolition Comet. Decent equip. Now if only I could find better defensive gear than a 4-slot Perfect Frame and a Secret Gear. XP~
But yeah. Weapons are less important than skill. Having good ones helps, though. ^_^

The item database is correct DC has higher ATP and ATA than BKB, and there are a TON of duped DC's out there. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Although obviously they aren't as common place as the BKB with 20% hit LOL.

True but we're talking base stats (non grinded). You are right though fully grinded BKB has higher ATP, considering the fact you can't grind DC.

Rainbow Baton's special confuses the enemy, really high chance, so i'm saying Chaos. I dont use the special because I have confuse traps anyways..Flight Cutter sucks compared to RB for me, my friend let me try his in multi mode and it was quite weaker.

i dont know bout this but y do people like charge vulcans so much, guld milla can do more damage in a weak attack than charge vulcans can with there special, plus it has low accuracy, not just cuz its a mech but cuz u use a special attack, its good for new chars but some weps are supperior in every possible way,

weak attacks do 70% of ur attack with a weapon equiped, strong attacks are 170%, special attacks are 50%, cept for orotiagito which is 190%, beserk, charge and spirit is 250%. elements depend on resistance, devils and demons is cutting HP, tsu is 170%, saber+2 sux, and techs are just techs on a weapon, they still depend on MST, BTW tsu special has the range of LVL 15 rafioe cept it dont do fire damage and it depends on ur atp not ur mst. DBL cannon is 50% in case ur wondering.

The only weapon here that can compete with Tsu is bkb, and maybe rainbow baton. Depending on wether your fighting a group or a single enemy, the latter mostly being bosses. Rainbow Baton is only for when things are flying or far away. Unless you have horrible accuracy, Tsu is the weapon of choice in most situations. So there =P

tsu is the wep of choice for normal mode but its ata sux shit compared to every other wep i listed, and if somethings flying use a gun, slicers are meant to hit miltiple targets, not midair targets, if i was expecting to fight candines and such id use orotiagitos special, it can hit them all and do more damage than a slicer,im talking 3x more, tsu sux in battle cuz once u block the first 3 hits, which is ez cuz ata sux on tsu, just get behind and u win. Tsu is meant for power, it shud only be used by some1 with good ata, like 200 maybe, 1 miss and u get hit since its so slow, they bartle or wutevea ur fighting can hit u. soul banish is the best wepeon for battle,
