pipeing for rares

does pipeing for rares really work? im trying to find a Kamui from the hidoom part of the pan arms.
i kill the hidoon and and leave tha migium alive. pipe to pioner 2 over and over again. ive been at it for an hour now and they dont even drop normal items. i want to know if once u kill a hidoom does the game count it as destroyed and will stoping or should i keep on going.

That's a good question, I have no idea tho

Once it drops an item, that's it, the game will considered the enemy's item to be dropped and it won't drop anymore from then on.
