View Full Version : Hunewearl Canabine Trick

I lub it. 70k per 10 minutes. Pop in a movie on my big TV, canabine trick on my small TV. 2 hour movie=About 800k EXP in 2 hours.

Im Level 176, HUnewearl. Max MST(1177), Rafoie Merge. 379 damage per Rafoie, 5 hits to kill canabines.

Easy EXP.

I can only imagine what a maxed MST, with rafoie merge and psycho wand, FOnewm could do. Probably 600k an hour.

This is on PSOX, but PSO GCN also can do this.
Can ver2 anyone know?

You know what...I think that is really cheap...it seems just as bad as the new Falz/Ogla trick people have tried...and have succeeded at might I add.

I almost feel like I am duping the bosses with that one...or the enemies. Anyone else feel the same way? I rather have fun playing and levels are a bonus on the side for having fun.

Tell ya, I am not doing either one. I feel too guilty about it.

You know this really isn't all that different then piping for rare enemies. Except instead of trying to get an item, u're getting exp.

This isn't cheating, since it's something that you can do legitimately.

exactly boring. I would rather walk around a bit and perhaps get a good item drop http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It's not cheating, its just what sad people do, probably because they don't have any decent contacts to play online with, and all they care about is a lvl 200 character, which is'nt special at all.

I've posted it before, but I guess I'll post it again...

What's the point of EXP Tricks? Why do you need EXP? Do you feel cool being on a high level? Do you need to be level 150+ to survive in Ultimate Ruins?

I just don't understand.

Exactly me too. I usually only do it when im getting ready to go fight the boss and I know im not high enough level. So ill go to mines for a bit and do that. Just makes the boss that much easier with that much more damage and life.

they do exp trick just because they want to reach a certain lvl in no time (well i am not doing that and i wont do that)

so what when you hv ur char lvl 200 just only you do this trick??...

My meaning of game is to enjoy the game play.. even i am scared that when my char reaches lvl 200 i will feel lost.. what to do when you reach lvl 200?? Just to be proud to tell ppl 'i have a lvl 200 char'

but well, the guy inventing this trick is kinda smart

if your a humar equip 4 god arms,no mag, S-ranks mech with exp steal ability (kings i think?) do west tower first room there are 3 reco boxes that do not spit out the stupid machines use the special. you hit for 0-1 steal about 45 exp per hit http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This is my opinion, i find it useful to level up. And I do it when Im watching movies, not just by myself sitting in a dark room. If im going to be just watching a movie, i might as well gain some EXP.

This like all is just something by preference. I do not feel anyone who does these tricks harm anyone else at all. They bought their game, they are not harming anyone else's game in the least by doing this trick alone. So why not just let players do what they wish to do if their not ruining your fun? Theymight love to be level 200, to them that might be fun, just because someone's idea of fun isnt the same as yours shouldnt mean they should ever be put down because of it, its disrespect to your fellow players.

Also, this is a good way for people who lose everything, including their character data, to maybe get back up to where they were before. It wasnt too hard to hit level 100 naturally in version 1, but we didnt have this bug <the 2 save deal> that many times killed our data as much as it does now. A game element bug took their data away, they use a game element bug to bring it right back.

As i have yet to hear anyone say they seen someone come in and say "hey, do you mind if i do box's or canabin's? I wanna level really fast, i'll be on a different map, just pass me on by" it brings me to the thought of it just being harmless.

I love it, I do the same thing. I worked out the math, and my level 148 HUmar could level up twice during the extended edition of LOTR.

I just did something crazy today as well. I had a friend over, and we did ult mines multi. You know that when you take a pipe you pop up in the exact same spot? Well, BOTH of us did the canabin trick while watching LOTR. It takes more hits to kill them in multi mode, but two HUmars with mind mags (and me using the rafoie merge) could rip through the rings faster than we could do it by ourselves. Of course, one guy gets less EXP per ring, but it was a blast. I gained a level, and he gained 2.

Yeah, it's up to preference of course, but I think it's sad. And it's a large reason I give no respect to about 98% of the LV200 people since nearly all of them used some sort of stupid trick to get there.

And what makes you jump to that conclusion? Even though that would be a good guess, you really have no facts to back that up. Besides, no one can really know the percent of level 200 people anyway.

Anyway, I don't mind using the ring trick to level up faster, but it's really just a part of how I play. I have this setup where I do the trick while I'm watching a movie till the movie's over. Then I finish the mines and do a ruins run. I like PSO a lot, and I play it for long amounts of time. It doesn't ruin anything for me.

You know, I just thought of somthing. Do you know how long it takes to hit 200? Even if you were able to use the Canabin trick the whole way through it would still take 100s of hours.

PSO is quite a game isn't it?

LunarShadowX

For those who do not know, in order to do the Canabine trick, you must find a Canabine ring (leader called a Canune I believe in Ultimate), and you essentially first setup a pipe, preferably right underneath the Canune. Following that, Rafoie the Canabines in the ring to death while their leader gets no damage, then, AS SOON AS the ring dies, take the telepipe up to the ship, then go back down, setup another pipe, Rafoie to death, and repeat, etc, etc.

For the non-Ultimate mode version of this, use any combo of Rabarta/Razonde.

Anyways, I know quite a few people are going to be "angry" at me for posting this. I feel this is quite foolish. For one, this is not cheating. There is no special "device" required to do this, other than your game system, the game disc, and your controller. But of course you also always use those at all other times too.

And why be angry? For those who seem so content in their own leveling schemes, why would you care what the levels of others are? Some claim they give no respect to level 200 players. Well, I ask, have they ever asked for your respect? I seriously doubt it.

And as many others have said, how you like playing is your preference, but you make yourself look ridiculous when all of sudden you want nearly everyone to conform to the way you do things. You claim this isn't true, eh? Well, why would you get so angry over this then?

And as for those who claim that a lvl 200 character isn't special. Well, I can say you sure as hell are right. However, NOTHING in a damn video game is special. Trying to claim such a thing doesn't exactly make you look too great. Also, claiming such people are sad is also true, but, I would argue that any "accomplishment" achieved in this game makes you look sad. After all, you wasted your time to accomplish something which really has no meaning in your real life nor will it have any positive impace in your "real life."

And I don't see as to how this is dumb. I mean, I find it amazing that someone noticed this then had the graciousness to tell others. What exactly about it is "dumb"? I don't see anything.

Finally, the moral of this entire post of mine is basically to say that everyone is allowed to have their own preference on how to play this game, as long as they don't disrupt others doing it. And this trick, since it can be performed offline and alone, obviously does not disrupt or bother anyone. I would also like to say that in a way I find it amusing how nearly everyone playing this game wants everyone else to conform to the way that they play. Whether or not anyone will admit it, they somehow see their way as being the only right way. This attitude is also probably due to the whole teenage attitude of wanting everyone to be the same, and, since they are too lazy to change themselves, they insist that everyone else changes instead. As I went through high school, I of course went through this, but I too was unwilling to change. In a way, being unwilling to change to the point where you really don't is a good trait, as you stay as much yourself as seemingly possible. However, while I'm not entirely to the point about not caring about others opinions of me (cause if I said I didn't care I'd be lying), I can tell you I definitely have a much deeper respect for individuality than I had four years ago, and as a part of that I'm actually becoming more and more myself, and (as much as this is grammatically incorrect) more unique.

Anyways, I'm done ranting. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if my entire post makes no sense, but eh, whatever.

Out of the 100+ Level 175+ players I have seen play, 99.9% of them possess zero skill and button coordination...most of them just mash 3 buttons the entire game...pretty sad...

Why not just discontinue visiting the forums altogether if you wish to not be amongst the ignorant, no-life, self-righteously legitimate, LV200 egomaniacs? And Lunar, make as many paragraphs as you want about the subject; the bottom line is it's a cheap trick. And it's going out of your way to increase your character's levels for what purpose exactly? Have a flashy number over your head in lobbies? And I hope none of the people who use the Canabin Trick claim to be legit, since it's on the same level as duping items.

Do you have a problem with me having a problem with your exaggerated and opinionated-based statistics? Then I guess you've just got a problem.

Now, there's no need to attack my intelligence because I disliked your use of hyperbole to discribe that particular group of players. I do find it funny that you can jump to all sorts of conclusions about ME and my "problems" from a single post of mine.

When someone say things, people get mixed responses to them. If you have to get so hostile when someone takes what you say at face value, you're the one with the problem. The problem with people today is they think they can say whatever they want, no matter how extreme, without worrying about the concequeces they could receive.

If I said something like: "All Arab Muslims are radical and evil terrorists." would people have the right to be angry at my exaggerated and opinionated-based statistics? Of course they would. Of course, I'm not stupid enough to believe that about Arabs or Muslims.

EDIT: MY opinion on the canabin trick is it's not cheating. I think it's more akin to the telepipe trick than duping, and I didn't need to go out of my way and insult you to say that.

If you really think I was attacking you in a hostile manner, just.. wow. Please, never leave your house. You seem to think that simple post I made previously, was somehow hostile and offensive. (I guess the word "fuck" scared you a bit, oops!) If you think things like that are hostile or whatever, you might faint if someone looks at you the wrong way.

And you still don't get it. People can say anything they want. I can say monkeys can fly. Is it true? Probably not. This is a videogame forum, so try to keep that in mind, if possible.. And as to why you're even trying to go against my LV200 arguement, you're not even LV200, so why do you care what I say? And for your information, most of the LV200's I've seen, are the ones who've used cheap tricks to get that "status." Therefore, my "opinions" are now changed to facts since it's what I've experienced personally; gonna try to counter this statement, too?

Why am I even wasting time on you? Meh, go swing your TJ-Sword, HUmar boy. (rawring w/hostility!)

I guess I have to agree with you.

It's a sad thing when "less hostile." becomes "not hostile". Sorry, Sham, I just think that people should be able to say what they think without giving in to personal attacks. Since you are quite obviously not capable of intelligent discussion, I'm finished with you.

I couldn't have said it better myself guys. He reminds me of a defensive haterade.

Can ver2 anyone know?

what is this "canabine trick"???? what do you make them keep appearing over and over again? if so, how?

Perhaps if you didn't have the attention span of a retarded chimp and took 1 minute to read the thread you wouldn't need to waste your valuable brain cells typing that message.

Yeah you are so busy to take 2 minutes to read this post /rolleyes. Im sorry that you have the reading ability of a 1st grader and can't read anything more than a sentence long. Which would mean you aren't reading anything im typing right now! Woohoo. I guess the XP trick is to Rafoie the canabine rings and it involves a telepipe! Looks like you missed out buddy.

On a related note (back to the topic), while it has been a useful trick to get my characters back to the levels where their predecessors left off (what can I say? I wish you could adjust skin color and names and proportions in the dressing room too), I don't think I would use it to get a character to lvl 200... it doesn't really feel like I'm earning those levels (but it sucks to have to work so hard to regain levels lost when all I wanted was to have my skin be a little less pale hehe)
