I hate tasmania, everything comes out late here! The GC modem & keyboard havnt came out here yet!

I'd need to get a new GC & game because a foreign modem needs a foreign gamecube

Nintendo Australia doesn't plan on releasing the Modem and BBA here. And as far as keyboards go, the official ASCII Keyboard Contoller is Japan only.

that does suck. so from reading someone elses post, i take it that ordering new from america or somwhere is outa tha question?

well i'll import a new GC, controler, memory card, keyboard, PSOII and modem then *sigh*

No need to import all that stuff. Just need a adapter and keyboard.

Before importing things yourself, do check Australian game importers such as Burn (http://www.burn.com.au) first; it probably won't be any cheaper, but it's typically quicker and easier to resolve problems should any arise.

No it doesn't, a foreign modem will work on any GameCube.
