Problems Getting TO THE RUINS HELP!!

I can't get to the Ruins, I turned on the thing in the level and talked to the people in the principle. Are there more than one of those big totem poles that I have to press?? HELP

yes, there are a total of three monoliths you have to touch, one in forest two, one in the caves, and one in the mines. ONce you've done that and beaten the mines, walk straight past the P2 warp and into the door.... but the door won't open until all three monoliths have been activated.

i've tounched them all but do you think that maybe you have to be at level 30, which i am now to go into mines?

You have to touch all three pillars, Defeat Volt Opt, Then you must enter the ruins via the portal from the boss room. If you don't do that, you can't enter the ruins.

That happens to me all the time, like I'll forget to activate the pillars and have to go all the way back and find them again. It sucks so badly.

you probably already know this, but the monolith is always located on the 2nd "floor" of each area. Example Forest 2, Caves 2, Mines 2.

On my xbox version of this, i played all the levels and activated all the pillars, but when i went to go through the door, it said only the mines pillar was activated. I then went back to all the levels and saw that they were all activated. I dunno what happened but then the door opened? Was this some kind of glitch?

The xbox version is a glitch assed motherfucke

I bet you didn't go up to the door and press A to open it.
Then walk forward and press A again.
Sometimes all the symbnols appear off.
