I believe it's 90%, if not more, of the names in DBZ are food items also. Look at the Garlic Jr. saga and DBZ: The Dead Zone. All the names of the Spice Boys were actual translations, not changed for American TV like Mr. Satan.(Hercule)

DBZ is crappy, lots of yelling and powering up...that whole android thing took place over one day...I think most of the buu thing was too...they tried to drag it out way too much. And I hear Akira wanted to have Goku killed by Frieza but the people wanted more.

And one more thing..I started the smiley story dammit..
