View Full Version : Help with Win98/ME Server

It works with the PlanetWeb Browser 2.0 but not PSO, or DreamKey...but give the "connect failed" message. I know for PSO, you have to "allow caller" aproximately 2 seconds after it says dialing. Who has goten this to work with PSO and could you help me out? ^_^

mess with the udp ports in winroute that might make it work.

Nonono, the UDP ports lets you receive data you normally woulding be detecting. I've already set them to 40000-41999 like it suggested. The problem is a can't CONNECT. Not having problems playing, but I can't connect at all... I know it's not a problem with my setup since the web browser works. Must be something specific to PSO.

do you have all the dns and proxy settings right? im behind a firewall so i had to do the proxy part too.

I can use the Planetweb Browser 2.0 with the setup and surfing the web works just fine, so I don't see how they could be wrong...
Perhaps you could give details on your setup? Maybe you did something else in addition to the information given on the Win98/ME server webpage.
Any help would be appreciated ^_^
