THE GIANT EL RAPPY ISN'T SPECIAL, ISN'T A GLITCH,ISN'T A PIMP, OR RARE MONSTER. SOMEBODY ONCE SAID TO ME THAT IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH OLD PHANTASY STAR GAMES. NO MORE GIANT RAPPY THREADS!!!!!!!

umm... yeah... i believe the giant rappy was a boss in the fourth PS? and that was the one that also started the entire running away thing too... they are very common, so i am not understanding why people think they are rare... now if only i could find another pal rappy... dang pal dry spell!

Giant rappies aren't rare. I see them all the time. For example, on the Fake in Yellow quest, a third of all rappies were larger than normal. I think this was just to make Ultimate mode more exciting thats all. They are just the same as normal rappies.
