imported icons in Symbol Chat?

I saw someone with a symbol chat that had a non-face object that looked like a crack pipe. I cant find anything in the game that can be changd around to even CLOSELY resemble this. So I'm thinking it's possible to import your own symbol chat stuff. Is this true? if so how is it done?
