While coming home from work, I was listening to the radio in my truck, and "Where is the love" by Justin Timberlake and The Black Eyed Peas Came on. I listened, and I started to think. Where is the love? Why does mankind have this overwhelming need to argue? Does argueing actually accomplish anything, ro does it just make those involved angry and hotheaded? Why cant all nations get along? Why cant the rich give their extra money to the poor? Why cant families spend more time together? What's wrong with the world? Where did the love go?

Where have all the cowboys gone? Doo doo doo, doo doo doo...

There was never any love to begin with. There's been wars pretty much as long as there's been recorded history.

because Humans feel emotions. As long as that is around, there will always be wars, and battles. As long as emotion exists, crap that like will continue to go on. There really isn't anyway to get around it.

We did'nt get to the top of the food chain by holding hands, it took millenia of beating the shit out of each other in new and improved ways to hold the cutting edge over each other and our surroundings.

There's love, to a degree, but we are split solely because we have our own cultures, and there are those who use that difference to draw a line of "them" and "us". Hell, America the land of the free, 100 years ago was quite the prejudice nation, and still today, even as far as we've come, are still a prejudice nation.

We boast freedom and equality, but thats nothing more than the sweet coating of a well buttered cake.

The love is there, it's just not being realised nor utilized.

If everyone was born blue, there would still be people argueing over who was a darker shade of blue.

Funny, I just got down listening to that song ten minutes ago, and Justin Timberlake wasn't there.

Anyway, as for where the love has gone, well...That's funny, 'cause it was never really there in the first place. The idea that love on that scale exists is a sugercoated biased opinion. The sad reality of things is that love is only between very trusting individuals, and will never envelop over entire countries.

A Justin Timberlake song inspiring a discussion on humanity? Isnt that one of the signs of the apocalypse?
