EP3: EP 3 Battle Tournament Feature

new exciting feature of EP 3 is the online Battle Tournament feature. 32 people can participate in a Battle Tourname online. A maximum of 8 players will be able to watch the battle go on from the lobby. Tournament results can be viewed and ranks will be displayed in a Battle Results Table. You will be able to choose the battle you want to watch from the lobby. Players watching the battle will be able to chat and comment with each other while the battle goes on. The chat will not be displayed on the screens of the battling players, and therefore will not disturb the battle process. A player waiting for his turn at the battle tournament can watch the current battle and chat with other viewing players and observe a current player's battling technique and card use.

I understand the fact that the lobbies from Ep. 1 and 2 will be used for 3, but what I dont understand is how somebody from an episode 3 game would join an episode 2 game. Is is possible to level in a episode 1 or 2 game while using your episode 3 character? I KNOW there is no way that is possible one of the reasons being disk space.

Also, is it possible to convert your characters (ex: dreamcast ver.1 to ver.2) or is the leveling system so entirely different that it's not possible?

My feelings excatly. Taking PSO and making it into a turned based online game is something I won't buy.

Sorry for those of you who are excited but this literal choice of engine for an Online game is literally a step backwards imho.

NO, PSOEP III is not being made a Card Game because they are so successful.

THIS GAME WAS PLANNED AT E3 TWO F*CKING YEARS AGO.

They didn't jump on the trend wagon and ride this to the bank, this was the next plan/vision of Yuji Naka.

PERIOD.


Anyone who says they aren't going to buy it--GREAT. That's intirely your decision, but don't rag on it--you don't even know how it plays/looks in-game.
