Gladius question.

I got a Demon's Gladius and Tempest Gladius, but they're only 8 star (not yellow, either.) Anyone know why..? I have a Demon's Laser and Tempest Arms and those are both 9 star. *shrug?*

The basic weapon types (generally the ones that can be used by all the classes) are one less star than all the other weapon types. Look for yourself, sometime, and you'll notice that a Saber and a Handgun have no stars, but a Dagger and a Rifle have one star. A Gladius, therefore, only has four stars, even though it's a level five weapon. Add the four stars from a top level skill and it only comes out to eight.
