Anthro, can you please reply to the thread I wrote about moon atomizers not working in the US PSO on PAL DCs.
Shado.. the one about playing 2 PSOs on one DC.
And Kenny, the one about UK gamers. Thanks.
And people with US PSO and a PAL DC should read the thread about moon atomizers not working on US PSO on PAL DC, even if it doe work. it would help you and me, I'm testing a theory.

Yeah the moon atomizers don't work for me so that must be the reason why. I just feed my mag most of the time with them instead. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks.
Also Anthro, I read your thread in the Tech forum. What is the DC-X? And have you found it to fix atomizers as well as Rafoie??
So its getting pretty concrete to me now that mod chips solve the problem already. Now to see if it is only the Utopia bootdisc, or any swap method.

The DC-X is a boot-dics designed to let NTSC games run on a PAL DC. It scrambles the territory lock-out that tries to stop PAL DC's running certain games (such as Fire Pro D) that other boot discs (such as Gameshark or Action Replay) wont run. It costs about ?15 and can be purchased from most independant retailers in the UK such as Gamestation.
Thank you ladies and Gentlemen... My first post.

There's another method to get past the terriotory stuff when using US pso on PAL DC.
Load up game, go to website. Go past VMU screen (up, then A), press L trigger, press up, press A, press A again. (button keys listed because you'll prolly have fuzzy picture unless you have 60mHZ tv). This selects exit to game, then go through as usual, select continue and go into the game. And you can use RAfoie, resta, revive. :)
This is the method I use, it works with the utopia boot disk.

Well I have been playing a Japanese PSO *sigh* pirated though.
Now before I get flamed, if I was too, I want to say I will still buy the actual game when it hits Defends and our shores, if that is EVER going to happen. The reason I did get it was because I loved the concept of the game.
I cnanot get online with it, because of the lack of serial/hunter codes, and nor would I with a pirated disk. It just isn't me.
I just want to know whether or not AND where I could import a proper version? And what version should I get? PSO UK? Because I really really want to get online.
But the whole point to this is that the boot up commands have been put on the actual CD's lately. So I chuck my PSO copy in and just go ahead and play.
But AS SOON as I can, I want to import. Defend, tell me what you are doing and we might be able to get a deal on 2 copies when we import or something.

Cool Mitsi.. I'm not sure wether I'll get the US or PAL version. A few people already have the PAL version over here, but no one has tried any ISP besides Tesltra yet... the US PSO definately lets any ISP work though.
So the DC-X is NOT the CDX Pro Action Replay thing (so that demo disc won't help?)

I think I will get the US version.. it seems there really are ways to get past the moon atomizer bug without needing a modchip. (or that DC-X thing)
