PK does NOT = hitting you and you not taking damadge. I dont know who called the spell trick pk'ing but they should be drug out back and shot.

Let's stop the confusion, the old "PK" people talk about is the spell one, this new "real" one actually will kill the entire party instantly and at command by the people you've listed. I stated in an earlier Mod Note that items involving cheating ect would be allowed to remain in general (only the first) if it was considered news or affected the community.

In my opinion this knowledge is very important so if one of them joins your game you can run like hell.

Being stolen from is one thing, being killed, stolen from, and them rezing you and killing over and over is a huge disruption to whatever fun you are having at the time.

You recently moved my post ANNOUNCING the threat this poses to the community to the cheaters board. Obviously, you don't even remember, as you haven't even responded to my complaint posted on that thread. Mine had to do COMPLETELY with how it could affect the community, yet I find it stuck in the cheater's forum. Yours is a list of cheaters *cough* also known as people who cheated you *cough* which belongs in my posts place. Either give me a defined definition of what goes where or put mine back where *ahem* more people can see it.

What happens when someone decides to use the name "Ambrai" or "Sephiroth" or "SuperSubZero" or something and go around PK'ing? There's no unique name function in the game, so trying to identify people purely based on name is impossible.

Hopefully V2 will address the PK issues.

Ambel=Astra? Thx for defending me little PSO buddy! At least they'll know the truth. Ask anyone I've killed, I've never stolen from them, and have only asked that they give me the names of thieves to hunt down. Agreed, I have been errant in my boastfulness ala GameFAQs, I'll be quiet and much less active from now on, back to the "real world", fun two days in PSO World. Let's just say the prospect of vengeance excited me too much and I went a lil crazy. I apologize to any I may have annoyed.

PS. You haven't reason to be scared of me unless your a notorious thief, and I don't think there's many of those round here.

PPS. Ambel or Astra is a kickass PSO partner!

Ambrai - Don't flame me for this but I recently met and played a game with evenstar and I found him a good team-mate!

I hate to say this but I'm going to anyway...!

....Not all dupers/cheaters are that bad..... SURE, what they do is bad but the people themselves can be just as good a gamer as any of you guys! This is just my view through personal exp. I like playing the game, I game with people willing to game fair with me but I DO NOT CHEAT niether do I ACCEPT DUPED ITEMS. I own a Varista +4 which I found on my own.

Long story short.... Give everyone (except PK'ers) a chance!

The way I look at the general Forums is a place to share information and help each other in the game. Unfortunatly as of recent these forums have been flooded with rants about cheaters and who stole this and who stole that.

To date I have been moving posts accusing people of stealing to the proper section (cheaters), but starting today; ANY post in refrence to cheaters that is not worthy of front page news will be moved to cheaters as well.

Some examples:

First post made about Sega shutting the servers down will be left in General because its something 'everyone' wants to know about.
Sequential posts will be moved.

Rants about duping will be moved.

Conversation about duping will be moved.

From now on please consider the Cheaters forum to be a place to discuss/rant about cheating.

Ummm...pardon me if I'm mistaken, but you yourself said PKing is not...cheating, exactly. So...the decussion about pking is not about cheating, logically, right? See, here's my philosophy, the best moderator is one who uses their power the least. I didn't see the board erupting into chaos or anything before the moderators, not like I feel it is erupting into chaos now, but I feel my offering a discussion about how truly HUGE a threat pking is not on your list of potential moved posts. And even if it is, it applies to the description below general, does it not?

I was killed twice by Gidget last night, but she didn't take any of my teammate or my weapons and meseta. Possibly since I was using my new lvl 10 or so RAcaseal anyways and my teammate was lvl 17 or so HUcast and didn't have anything she could want at her level of 82. The highest level of my temmates, a lvl 30 FOnewearl apparently knew what Gidget was going to do and quit out of the game before she launched the spell or whatever it was that killed us. After Gidget killed us and then revived us twice (killing herself in the process both times even) she did gloat about how she had "skillz" when we commented on being killed and upon seeing our disconnected teammate in the lobby, slyly remarked on how she "got away." While she didn't do anything bad that time, our FOnewearl companion did mention how before she had somehow corrupted someone's character data while showing off her "skillz." And not showing any remorse for the result. While I'm thinking she is probably not a totally malicious killer, she is still being very disruptive and unconsiderate of other player's feelings and most players should avoid playing with her.

We'll probably have to take screenshots of these murderers if we want to identify them or at least pay careful attention to their character type. Gidget is a short blue costumed FOnewearl with a wide-brimmed hat that has two bouncing balls attached to the end. If you see someone with that name and description approaching you, run as if Dark Falz's 2nd form had launched that heaven's punisher attack at you.

You got it Sciler. That blasted Gidget showed up in one of my games earlier today. Luckily, I knew of her reputation from past events and as soon as I saw her name, I quickly spoke about and asked her not to PK me (in a comical tone). Of course, this surprised the little vixen because she had never met me beforehand. She responded with a "how do you know I PK?" Anyways, my teamate threw up a telepipe before I could warn her. As soon as I saw the Gidge... I knew what was coming. Soon enough... all three of us lay dead... then Gidge was alive again. She did, however, res my teammate and I. Soon after, she left. I guess my prior knowledge of her reputation fizzled her "true" intentions. Then again... maybe she was just bored and wanted to be mischievous. Oh well, in any case, that blasted Gidge can... and WILL PK you. So, if you see a minute FOnwearl, dressed up in blue attire and a jester hat, be warned, beneath this cutesy facade lies intentions of mayhem!

I was in lobby2 of Puck9 earlier and "Kevin" and "SS Vegeta" were talking about how "MIKE" can do the real PK and can't wait till he gets on, so they can learn how to do it too.

He came onto Puck 9 last night, into Syntax's PSOW game. Made sure we were all from PSOW, then PK'd everyone... but me.

I smelled something fishy and stayed on Pioneer 2.

He was trying to spout Samuel Jackson/Pulp Fiction rhetoric, made himself look like an idiot, and we all laughed at him.

He seemed to have such a grudge against PSOW players that I could have SWORN it was Naver.

Last thing I saw him say was, "Hahaha! Now all PSO World players have to password their games!"

Question for Lugnut. Check your guild card list, was it erased? My list and my teammate's card lists were completely erased after Gidget PK'ed us. Luckily it was my new character so only 5 or so names were erased. It didn't happen immediately either, It only occured after I logged online the night after. My teammate's list was erased immediatley though. I don't know how many names he lost exactly, but he seemed pretty upset about being PK'ed. So, anyways be especially careful if your playing a high lvl character with a lot of contacts since apparently Player Killing can mess up your character's data. Too bad you can't de-ryuker a telepipe. :/

To Klin-304: You?re probably already aware of this, but if not, here it goes. If you have another vmu, you can copy your guild card file to that vmu as a backup (and make sure you copy it regularly.) I do this so my 3 characters all have the same guild card list.
