Mwa, i have never really bothered to cheack up on any of the new avatars. Only time i really see them is if people are using the new ones. For me, im sticking with my classic, retro stylee original PSOW avatar, seeing as i barely see anyone else using it (except for Blackrose).

hey what do you know, you use uber a lot. that's trendy and cliche..
"Uber" went out of being cool though. Besides, I don't really mind if what I do is considered "cool" or not - if it is, meh, if it isn't, meh. It's just silly when people actively go out of their way to achive "coolness". I think we can all agree I don't strive to be cool. : )

I think we base ourselves around sarcasm nowadays, not being this so-called "cool". And if I'm trying to be "cool", where I am "trying" to be "über l33t" in a way to be the "(Alpha sign goes here)", then I am trying to put some "humor" for fellow members to "laugh" at and "have" "a" "good" "time".

Well being that we can't use custom avatars, it takes a long time to find an avatar that would best represent our personalities. But yes avatars do reflect your personaly(like in Link to the Past; When Link goes to the Dark World without the Moon Pearl, he is transformed into a Bunny. Cause well, he's a sweetheart just like a bunny heh. And the Dark World will change you into a being that reflect your personaliy.)or maybe a style or art/character.
I think I used three avatars here before I got stuck on my current one. ^_^
Now as for the topic itself. Pfft, it's a PSO site. The avatars are suppose to be PSO characters. And there isn't much media of PSO out there, so what you expect? I think the way they were added over the years I've been here was a good way of improvising.
And saying 90% of the avatars sucks is like saying 90% of the info on the main site sucks. Since they took the time to put all those up. =/ Think people.

Or you could always just not use any avatar, save yourself the heartache of using one you don't like. =o
I remember having enough avatars to count on two hands at the most. Be happy for small things.

Without post counts, there is no rule.
WIthout join dates, there are no elders.
Without avatars, we are a statistic.
Without sigs, we are faceless.
Without smilies, we don't have damned smilies.
Without everything else, we would have a hell of a forum.
I've admined/moderated many forums.. Without some of these elements, you don't have a forum.

Not a big fan of having potential flaws pointed out I see. That sounds like the response you would expect from a bad mother or something.
Anyways, this site is good, the section ID calculator is good, the guides are good, SOME of the fanworks are good, the forums are good (I won't comment on the users...) - loads of things about this site are good Lolita. I assume you do this in your free time as opposed to paid work? I guess we should try not to make a point solely of the flaws. Also, we should try to appreciate the fact that you are only trying to help. This doesn't mean I like you moderators though. : )
P.S Please try to understand, if I wasn't so damn stubborn I would've topped myself a long time ago. Enough of the mushy crap. @_@

I have a tendency to identify people by their avatars; obviously, there are many more users than avatars, but... prolific posters, anyway... seeing the old ones still makes me think of some ex-posters here.
