Rares: Offline or Online

I finally got to v-hard offline and in my first romp through the forest I didn't seem to find jack. As opposed to my online game where I find lots of matierials, grinders, special weapons, etc. Does anyone know if it's less likely to find rares offline? If so, why would sega do that?

To encourage online o course hehe.. but seriously, when you play online in someone elses game, it uses their ID. So you could get totally different things. I can totally attest to this, I'm beating the game offline with my racast as we speak. I have NEVER IN M LIFE seen this amount of grinder's drop (good too, cause I need some more still).

On a related note, just got my frirst "rare" offline, double sabre. *shrug*

Hehe, thanks for the offer, but I don't even think I'm gonna need anymore .. this is insanity.. just the other day I needed to grind 2 lasers, a visk and an arms from nothing to full, well, one lasers full (25), the visk is done (9) , the arms is done (10) and the other laser is at 22.

This is all on TwiN so whitill id.. most of them have come in mines/ruins too. Just crazy... on the other hand though, not a single material has dropped this whole adventure (I'm going through all of hard in one sitting :P at level 71, lol.) ..ah, well.
