FanArt: Quick little sketchamabobber, and a sprite!

I was looking around at some of the fanart around and decided to come up with my own. It's of my main character, Wynd, in a battle ready stance with dual blades (either Musashi, or Yamato.) I know nothing of martial arts or anything, but I decided it would look at least decent for him to be in that sort of stance. Here's the url:

Any feedback is welcome, and criticism is as well. I want to know what looks wrong with it so I can fix it in my other drawings. It also isn't colored, because I can't really color worth a rip.

Also, on another thing, I took one of the avatar sprites and reshaped it to look more like my character would if there were more customization options in PSO, and I wanted to put it as my avatar. Is there any way to do that?

it looks great, but i dunno, it kinda seems a lil off balance. either way, still looking good!

Well, I can't really draw (I'm sort of starting, but I doubt i'll get good.), but here's my opinion.

The actual picture is wonderful, and I like the detail you have in the body and sword. The head is great and the hair is fine, but the face just looks kinda funny; I've never smiled so funnily in my entire life.

lol. Other than that, it's a great picture (Keep on drawin, man, I wanna see what else ya can do!)

I was trying to get a squinting look going for the eyes, but they turned out odd. Heh. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, and I'll see what else I can cook up.
