Hey, i posted this so people can talk about what pictures they liked and anything else you want to say.
I liked many of the pictures, one of my favorites was the last one on page 1. I like pencil drawings and i don't particularly like computer animations. I also liked "Light". That picture seemed to show more emotion of the characters.

I only had 2 that really caught my eye, to be honest. Those are the one by Axel, and the one of Shir's character. I really liked those two...can't really say why though. ::shrugs:: Ah well...

I wanted to enter my superdeformed characters riding oversized mags picture, but various things popped up and I didn't have time to finish them.

The thing that really sucks is that I didn't realize until Sunday night that my scanner broke, so I couldn't even post the pencil sketches. I'll be getting a new scanner sometime this week or next, though...

Personally I like Axel's, Aaron Connell's, and Mrgrfx's(p5).

If this is going on a T-shirt, Aaron Connells would make for a cool shirt because it kind of sums up PSO well.

For quality and effort, I think Axel's pic is the best hands down, though I voted for Aaron Vagas because I really liked the composition. Also because style wise it's very comfortable, it would be even better if the style is more Japanese.

Axel's is very polished, but the style of drawing is still lacking. I think if axel took some figure drawing classes and really pushed him/herself to find a unique style he could take his drawings to the next level

My own picture (the LIGHT one) I don't particularly like... the proportions are off and the coloring was an experiment. However I still think I catched the emotion okay. ^^;;
Seby's drawing probably IS my favorite... it's just such an awesome style! XD XD
I must say I sort of dislike the pics by Jeffery Kirby and Rommel... both use the evil built-in lensflare... which is cheap! While Jeffery's got still some reason to be there... the one in Rommel's pic just lookc WAY off. ^^
Gaston seems very talented with traditional media - which I admire him for. ^_^ v

Ahh, the other Alex... very dynamic pose, cute coloring and style. One of my favs! ^.^

Hey! I was wondering, since this art contest is "Art Contest - Series 1", does that mean that another one might be in the near future? I really wanted to submit something for the fan art contest, but I was unable to because I've been really busy. Any higher-ups know by any chance?
