Well im from UK and its taking me ages to get what i need for online PSO and someone told me that you need and official GC memory card to get online? is this true??

No you don't have to. Unofficial cards do have a tendancy to corrupt easier though.

Hey Im from the UK too. I think unofficial card corrupt when you go online for an odd reason. I red it in NGC mag.

that has been true since dreamcast days, too. it is very advisable to use official card from console manufacturer for online. offline saving seems more forgiving. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

The uk gets everything last and you probaly need a official memory card to get online oh and hi

You shouldn't need an official Nintendo GCN memory card... it's just usually a good idea to use the official versions, as the extra five bucks you may be paying will usually be due to them spending a few extra bucks on making it.

Then again, you're in Europe, so I guess you wouldn't be using dollars... but you get the point.

you don't NEED to put your character on a memory card for xbox, only if you want to bring it to a friends house. that's why no matter how much i want to, i will NEVER but Calis on a memory card


Isn't that right Calis, my level 119 Force with almost level 30 everything and your great Sorcerors Cane that you traded for...

Nevertheless, Arutha, that comment and yours was unneeded. This is about the GameCube version.

And I strongly advice to use official memory cards. The extra bucks you're paying is not for the brand, but for the better memory bank quality. 3rd party memory cards are cheaper because they use lower quality memory banks.
