I find myself constantly fighting with my brother and sister for this game. My characters' levels are stagnating because they never get played. I'm never able to play for more than an hour or so unless I stay up real late on a school night.
I swear, this game brings out the worst in us. We fought so much, our dreamcast was taken away by our parents http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif I haven't played for two weeks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif
Anyone else have this problem? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Well, I don't have the game yet (See "What I Did To Acquire PSO..."), but I'm sure once I do, I'll be competing with my 14 year old brother for play time. Every game I ever download or buy, he literally takes from me. I'm sure it'll cause some fights.

Lol I have 4 brothers and 5 sisters, thank god I am the youngset and they have all moved out. All but one anyway. He tried to play once, but got bored in about 2 minutes. Bah. I started to go into PSO withdraw during those two minutes. Good thing he got bored.

I wouldn't say I have a problem with it, although I am the oldest, and it is MY Dreamcast. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif But my bro does whine a bit about it.

It sucks. It's my 14 year old brother's dreamcast, and it's my game. I'd be up to 250 hours instead of 103 if it weren't for his ass. He didn't want the game at first, but once it comes in the mail, "ooh, my dreamcast my first!" And not to mention he just destroyed the disc, so I have to pay somebody more money. Whenever I level up, he gets jealous and threatens to turn off the dreacast unless he can play immediately. He also trade with dupers, and he got BSOD'ed and got my file corrupted. Damn.

Man, I knew I was OLD...but this just proves it - my problem is not with my siblings, but MY KIDS - my 7 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter each have a couple of characters that they are ALWAYS fighting for time to play...the latest whine in my house is "Mom, do you REALLY need to level up some more?? It's *my* turn!" http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Instead of fighting with my brother, I went and got my own DC and copy of the game. But we DO still only have one phone line. That's why he's lvl 100, and I'm just 72 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

My sister constantly whines, wanting to play the game. Because she is the youngest in the family, my parents sided with her. But since I am much older and because I paid for both the DC and PSO, they can?t really force the issue.

Hmmm...let me analyze my situation to see if I have those problems...

*ahem*

My dreamcast...check!
My PSO game...check!
My own phone line...check!

Nope...no problems that I see http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Seriously though...I bought the DC myself, the game myself, and got my own line installed and pay the bill myself...the only sibling that still lives at home is my 10 year old sister who is too into the Gameboy and Pokemon fetish that she doesn't care--although she does want my N64.

I guess i got it good. My little brother is only 4 so he plays only my Snes and nevre obthers me to play at all but i have a problem with my mom she see's the game online as different than offline. I offered to pay for it but she said "That's not the point". My mom does not get logic at all but other than that no competition.

Okay i am 36 and have 4 boys. One has moved out (yea) the youngest doesn't get it but the other two....man so i limit them to 2 hrs a day.(they play when i am at work so it cool) on fri,sat nite they play from 9pm for about 1.5 to 2 hrs each. so i get to go online at about Midnite. okay so i can play till 3am (which i do!) i try to go online each nite for about 45-1 hr so i can keep up. one phone line, so we gotta wait till the old lady is asleep! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif

Well, I don't have to worry about siblings or kids playing. The one I have to watch is my wife. She plays any chance that she gets and sometimes even until the next morning. I'll go to bed and she'll be playing and then she comes in and wakes me up for work the next morning! It's cool though, I like that I'm married to someone who's as into games as I am http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif Unless I can't play because of it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

I had the prob of my sis wanting to use it(all mine of course). I finally let her start her own. Then she got her own DC(after saying who would want to get a DC besides my brother? It's so stupid, yada yada yada) and then got her own PSO and her own phone line. The funny part is that she had to start all over, heh.
