I just hit 199 tonight on Xbox.

It was approximatly 4,817,000 untill 200.

level 200 is 83,227,800.

between 182 and 183 is halfway to 200.

just to tell you its Indi Belra in ult. All enemies change when you reach ultimate.

about 330 EXP for an indi belra, which si a dakr belra in ult.

anyways... im lvl 140... and its taken a long time to get there, my character has 280 hours

thats why the 190's are a bit rough. i think i lost my mind in the 190s since it was 3-4 mill to gain a level. i started leveling other chars just to get a sense of accomplishment. if i get another char to 200 it will be by accident. oooooh, i am so done with the offline mode.

183 is NOT halfway. Here's why. By that level you will be godlike, and can sweep through Endless Nightmare in a matter of minutes. It takes ages to reach that level, and you have to toil offline to get through the areas in order to unlock them. I'm positive it only takes a fraction of the time to go from 183 to 200 as it does from 1 to 183.
In terms of time, 183 definitely isn't halfway. I'd say the real slog is where my main charas are now, 120-150, seeing as you are still not powerful enough to get through the areas without it taking a lot more time, and it's real hard work. Everyone I know around those levels complains about it. We go up maybe 2 levels a day if we are working REALLY hard. My FOmar has a lot less of an effort to make as he has the techs, but it's real tedious levelling my HUnewearl.

Unless you are not legit, in which case I guess it's less of a worry. I wouldn't know.

between 182 and 183 is the 41.7 million mark, which IS halfway. Same amount of EXP from 1-182ish than the EXp needed for 182ish-200.

Add MAYBE say 40-50 hours for your toils in normal-Vhard.

And Im 199 on xbox, and i still need help getting through Ult ruins, if i want to do it fast. Same with seabed.

120-150 is a cakewalk. At 120 you could gain 6 or 7 levels a day easy.

I meay not have experienced it PERSONALLY, but there are a lot of people I know around the 170 mark who have been gaining levels a LOT easier since EN was introduced. It's not halfway time wise, that's just crazy. It's not halfway effort wise either, because breezing through ep 1 ult if you are maxxed or near to maxxed takes less time and garners a lot of experience. I'm getting the same experience per moster at my level, but I'm doing it a lot more slowly, due to being less powerful. Doesn't this make sense? If might take a lot more time to gain LEVELS at 183, but your total exp goes up a lot quicker. When I play with people at that level my exp goes up as fast as theirs, but not everyone can find people willing to help like that.

So number wise, from getting to ult at level 80 (call it this for arguments sake, it's what it is online and gaining exp is easier online) to reaching level 183, the time you take to gain the SAME experience points for each monster is going to be a LOT more than it is as 183. That's just logical. It seems a real chore because you are not seeing your LEVEL go up, but it terms of time taken it is going to be less than 1-183. If you claim otherwise then you are lying. Either that or you maxxed early, and that's very hard to do without cheating. And if you did max early than it would have taken less time up to 183, but for the majority of people this is not the case.

Oh and er, everyone needs help through ult ruins to do it quickly, that is why it's a lot quicker to gain exp online. A team of 4 legits at 170+ make it through a lot faster than legits at 120. But you are getting the same experience, in less time.

And the sheer fact that 41.7 million is between 182-183 makes it half-way. you cant factor anything else in, and if you do it dosnt relate to the fact that 83.4 is 200 and 41.7 is 182-183, making it Half-way.

Add that shit up folks. 83,227,800 exp for Level 200 and look at what some of you 150 or 175 players have. You've only fighting to get to the halfway point by the time you hit the 180s.

Hell level 179 is when exp needed for a Level goes over a mil.

It's still going to take less time from 183-200 than from 1-183. I played EN4 with people in the 190s today, they breezed through it and I went up a level in about 1/4 of the time it usually takes, leeching off their exp. They didn't mind, wanted me there for the s/d/j/z to make it quicker for them. It was very fast. They got the same exp as me, even if they did not level up. It must seem extremely hard, but bear in mind your exp IS going up much faster than lower level players. We have a much harder time. I can't even equip some of the best stuff I found in the game yet, and when I can it's going to be less of a problem. For me the game is not about levels. It's about the rares. I only power level to use stuff I find, that's the joy of the game, right there. When I'm 183 you won't see me complaining about how hard it is to level, I'll be loving every bit of the rares I can equip.

It seems to me that people who are lvl 200 are quite snobbish about it. Why make fun of somebody at lvl 125 for only getting 2-3 levels a day? That's all I get if I play offline for 5 hours. If I want to broadcast the fact I don't have a life (and I don't, the other 5 hours is spent on other chars, or piping for rares) then I'm not going to be high and mighty about it. "That is why you are only lvl 125", heh. The lvl 197 I met today had as many hours on his game as I do. I just don't think it's fun to devote it all to one character, and I don't think it's any boast that I'm on PSO all day. In fact I'm starting to think I need help for it, and would get help were it not for the fact I'm paid to play games like this, it's my livlihood. Maybe not this one QUITE so much though.

Why can't I factor anything else in? I'll factor the time taken, my life wasted on this game in if I like, because to me, that's what really matters. Your exp goes up WAY faster than mine, and you can't say that's not the case.

Congrats that you got to the level you did, but please don't get high and mighty about it. I'll look at things from my perspective if I want, and I'm an older gamer so my time is precious. Basically it takes less time from 183-200 than from 1-183, that is the only factor I care about, so for me 183 is not half way. I'll come back in a few months when I'm level 200 and tell you just what was halfway, if you like. I'll calculate it purely on my game time.
