To the person who is abusing me on PSO...

I am running the game through a TV card, and digitising everything you say. I have my suspicions who you are on this forum, and I don't care if I'm wrong, let's hope you read this.

I, and a couple of dozen or so other people who I mailed on my guild card list, witnessed an FSODer in a UK ship a few months ago. I got their guild card number by asking around, and we all rang Sega Europe next day. Now I'm not going to brag about any influences I may have here, but I found out the other day that we did in fact get this person banned. He was offline for a fortnight or so, then came back on a new copy of the game. But I got it right from the horses mouth, he was banned and had to buy the game again. He's since found out I was one of the instigators in getting him banned. He's after my guild card, but I don't care - he got his just desserts and if you continue to abuse me online you will do also. I'm not saying I can definitely get you banned by any means, but I do have at least some sway with Sega, and let me say it - you picked the wrong person from the wrong country to pick on. I certainly have more influence than most. Sega Europe actually give more of a damn than Sega US, and that is the channel I will go through. If you don't fancy having to pay for PSO again I suggest you cease and desist.

I'm sure you'll abuse me on the game over this post too. I bet you are getting a real kick out of it. I'm not actively targetting you, but you have a nasty habit of singling out my charas, even ones I have barely used online that you have never SEEN, appearing in the same lobby as me and throwing your trademark little dig at them that you like to needle me with. I don't think you have my guildcard so I really can only surmise you have read my posts and you know my characters. I wish you would leave me alone, you nasty little piece of shit.

Ok, there is several ways you can remady this(actually all of these might not work but its worth trying).
-One is to make another character on another memory card.
-Another, you could just leave the lobby until he stops going after you.
-Lastly, if your character is high enough go into Battle Mode and fight him. The last way might not stop the situation but you should release some frustration.

I know how you are feeling. I've actually been picked on. You talking about those situations, regardless of who's telling the truth, opened some wounds of the past for me.

Wait! What was his costume? I will match it as well. Muahahaha. Er, sorry. Ahem. Yeah ok never mind. The only way I am going to post here again is if Sham or whatever acts meen directly to me, Wink Wink.

Unlikly Bit. Yes this is a game, thank you everyone who stated the astoundingly obvious for us all. Alas, it is an ONLINE GAME - the clue is in the name Phantasy Star ON-F***ING-LINE. Thus, any idiot (you would think?) could then devise this game is designed with the INTENT of the human element. In other words, so it's not just another game. It has REAL people playing it, not just characters. People seem to have real trouble distinguishing the difference between an onlien game with real people, and a game which has no reality involved. I think friends online can be just as important as friends offline. If not more so. It is FAR easier for me to talk to people online than it is offline. Offline I have to get drunk to be able to speak to people. Also I never really thought of friends as that important, you get one, maybe 2 or three if you are lucky, REALLY special friends in your life, and the rest are just superfluous - they either don't understand you, can't talk to you on an emotional level, or are too far removed from you in interests to ever gel with. Those sorts of people make up 95% of my offline 'friends'. I would wager that the formar - people I can really speak to and enjoy my time with make up 95% of my ONLINE friends. Why is this? It's much easier to find people you can relate to online. Ironically my real life friends that I consider REAL friends are people who I met online. I'm going to Japan with one of them in a month.

The real-life friends I have are starting to grow up and move away. This is what happens when you hit your mid 20s, people start to get careers - real ones, not temporary jobs, and are more concerned with their income or families than socialising. The old adage "Men come and go but a friend is for life" is bollocks - most people I know can not say they have a special friend like this who has not had to move on, it is always "Well I had so and so, she's in Australia now working for a law firm" etc. Whereas your partner is there forever, if you can hold onto them. Your friend is there forever too, if they are prepared to meet you online and talk to you. Most don't though, people drift apart. It has happened to me with so many people this year who I've known for a DECADE - they got married or got jobs.

When you get to my age, you realise that most of the people you knew as a teenager, who you went out, got drunk with, had SERIOUS fun with, were not actually real friends. Are they there if you REALLY need them? Are they hell. It's crazy to belittle online relationships, if you can really open your heart to a person online AND THEY COME BACK FOR MORE - that is a very REAL friend.

Before I tip this off I will state that I'm not trying to take sides here, but I'm just stating what I have observed.


I find it funny how Sham gets on to people for arguing online, when that is all he has done on this forum. Also do you know how easy it is to set Sham off? A friend of mine got on to him for making up readical statistics and Sham went off on him like his honor was at stake.

Also I would have to agree that Shimarasu is taking this a bit too seriously, but atleast she can admit her faults. That is something that I have few people here do and for that Shimarasu gets my respect. Also Shimarasu has a brain disorder so that why she "has to respond".

Also I agree with _J in the ideals that Sham is not totally innocent in this matter. Knowing Sham I would have to say that he did something to desrve this, but knowing Shimarasu, it's probably not as bad as she makes it seem.

Yep, it didn't work, my GOD it didn't work, but I have not accused him of stalking outside of that conversation when my friends were present. If anything it was to prompt them to jeer at him - he was, after all, REALLY PISSING ME OFF with the lines he threw at me below.

Now let's look at what Sham has said to me:

"You must be ugly and fat, you play videogames."
"You are stupid and your IQ is less than 40."
"you have no friends, that is why you are talking to me. Why don't you leave me alone?" (Said after I had asked him the same over and over, told him I was not leaving the lobby, and if he REALLY felt that way, he would leave).

So you are saying that everything I say (to attempt to insult Sham, in response to the above insults he has thrown at me) is completely unfeasible, illogical and unreasonable?

Sham thinks that all women who are gamers are either/and/or:

First of all Sham's fear/hatred of women seems pathological. Will one of the other people who reported Noodles please back me up on this? You can ask Noodles himself - go to Polaris 01 and ask if he had to buy another copy of PSO. Pretend to be sympathetic about it, he'll most likely berate you anyway. He may lie, but he did not lie to me - you could even ask him if he wants my guild card number. Because I know he's been after it.

And as for bragging, there are PLENTY of things I could brag about, but I do not. Not a lot of people on PSO for instance, know I'm semi famous (and I mean ONLY *very* semi famous) in the UK where gaming is concerned. I've mentioned the reason a grand total of one time in the dozens of posts I've made here. But I did use this reason to get some sway with Sega, and the multiple people on Polaris who hand me their guild card. I got them ALL to report Noodles. He was FSODing. I lost some good items, but it was a friend of mine I felt most sorry for, who lost a legit 1975 Agito he'd been showing to me.
