You?re not alone Laurana. This is one time consuming game, therefore creating a bunch of social misfits. When you have PSO, who needs a life?
P.S. Damn those ShROoMs are GoOD?

This game is almost dangerous. Since I got it I have forgot almost everything in the real world. Just been sitting in front of the screen and killing bad ragol dudes on daytime, and helping out some friends online at night.
And I just love it!

Yeah - weird isn't it. Something else that struck me as odd, is that I used to play a lot of MUDs back in the early days (1991-93ish) and was embarassed to tell anyone about that because it was considered nerdy - but I don't feel as much of a geek with PSO despite the fact that I spend virtually all my spare time playing it.
I also don't feel like I'm 'wasting my life' which is something I would normally be very conscious of.

Phew! LOLhttp://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_biggrin.gif
I keep finding myself going online just to do a trade and I end up playing 3 or 4 games and chatting in the lobby!
Which is something else I've noticed - The lobby is easily as much fun an experience as playing some of the best offline video games. I tend to spend *alot* of my time there.. just a shame there isnt a bar and dancefloor - something for PSOv2? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif
I've been playing video games since the days of the master-system and NES and IMHO this has got to be THE most addictive game on the planet! Even in comparison to some of my fave PC onliners!! [I'm gonna get myself in trouble here..]
oh well, back to the monogrinder..

hehehe, I don't have that kind of social problem 'cause I play at night and live my life during the day. Good startagy, don't you think? Sure I've been up for more than 100 hours once but, who cares about health?? there is that night-shift thing witch is cool too, that gives you the chance to play during work time hehehe. I'm at work right now and I can tell you that it's really quiet here so I have the time to write all of this and maybe go on for an offline PSO game if I want to.
Well, all I really wanted to say is that, the human body can skip a night of sleep, if you don't beleive me, I'd understand, I couldn't beleive myself the first time I tryied lol. It's all up to you, players of PSO.
So try it for half of week or so, give lot's o food to your body and most important, try not to think about it. Not thinking makes the brain rest and that's why we sleep, so if you play offline at night, don't do the Soul Eater quest, I missed it at norm, hard, and I don't think I'll make it on V-hard.
Have a good night everyone!

My girlfriend has...wait a second. I don't have a girlfriend. Yes, PSO truly has made me sad and lonely. But then again doing stuff sucks and women=lots of lost money.

There's an advert on UK TV which I think is for BT Internet (British Telecom for those of you who aren't from the mother country) which shows people completely failing to manage simple activities like crossing the road and getting on and off an escalator. The tagline at the end is something like 'So good, you'll forget about real life' or that kind of message.
I think of PSO every time I see it (which isn't often since I'm usually playing and not watching TV!!!)

?I have a long distance relationship, and I work a lot. PSO is pretty groovy to occupy my (otherwise would be negative) thoughts and it's fun too.http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif I dig the interaction with game enthusiasts across the globe. Even if I had a "life", I would probably still play more than sleep.?

Agree Ambrai 110% http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
BTW I did a cost analysis on comparing Hookers to a meaningful relationship...and in the End the Hooker saved the average man 50%. However the risks involved include...arrest where illegal, numorous Diseases, and not trustworthy ( I mean sleeping around is her job)
So in the end yes, when I am on the look-out for another EX I do save up and prepar for the lack of fundage, lol.
