GC: Do rare monters always drop rare items?

Hello PSO Community.

This is my second post (hooray!!). But anyhow, my question is do all rare monsters always drop rare items? My character is a Hucaseal lvl 109 (Not too bad for just playing offline) character id is Grennill and according to its id when you battle Hildeblue on VH in forest it should drop Elysion. Well I was on quest "Forest of Sorrow" and I started to use the telepipe trick for about 25 minutes. And wham!! Not one but two Hildeblues...I was drooling with anticipation. So I began to battle them and another two Hildebears at once. But at the end of the battle...to my dismay...nothing...NOTHING!! Not even a monofluid!! So again that this happen a lot or was I just a victim of "randomness"? Thanks for any input.

They don't always drop rares. Especially really rare drops.

Nah, not always. I was so excited when I found my first Hildeblue. It dropped... a monomate. ><

its a ratio thing. the lower the ratio, the lower the chances of you getting what you want. crappier weapons have high ratios have high ones and good one have low ones. you most likely have a collection of okay/bad weapons no one wants, this is why.

I think that a rare enemy will always drop an item, just it isn't always a rare item.

Haha, the first and only hidleblue i found dropped a hidleblue's head and then like 5 minutes later a hidlebear dropped a hidlebears head aahahah too bad my force isn't at a high enough level to use any of them yet http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rant.gif

Now I dont feel so dumb...well dumber..he he. But I got my revenge against a Hildetorr, whupped him real good and gots me a FROZEN SHOOTER...HOORAYY. Yeah they dont always drop rares makes me so mad when they drop me a monomate dang pal rappy.

The only time a rare enemy has dropped a non-rare item was against a hildertor, and it was 2000 meseta, so don't be disappointed, cause you can always try again, even if you spent 4 hours doing it, and drops you a bunch of CRAP you DON'T EVEN WANT!!!!! DAMN HILDERTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
