ive been ripped off only a couple of times on pso and everytime no matter how small it has always pissed me off too the point where i could reach through the tv and ripp out the eyes of every thief in the world of PSO... and the question ive asked every thief is...WHY?... isnt it better if you play the game out and earn or trade honestly for the stuff you get... i mean eventualy sega is going too do something about thiefs and cheaters and is it going to be worth it when your DC serial number gets banned??? i mean if your gonna be a thief you might as well go out and buy a game shark for 40.00$ and then not have your name posted in every pso site that your a thief...eventualy it will catch up too you and thats a fact... i mean do you enjoy pissing people off... or is it that you just dont have the skill to earn your way too the top.....i would rather have peple know me for being honest and someone who they can trade with and not worry about it.... but thats me...i just don't understand it...and i ever will

first off, the plural form of thief is 'thieves' not 'thiefs'.

2nd, stealing on pso is part of the game. you give up your goods when you hit the floor, so its not like they have to dig into your pockets to steal from you. theft during trades isnt punishable either, unless since i last played sega started going room to room with a posse of desperados looking to wrangle them 'dern cattle thieves'.

to answer your other q's:

yes, they do enjoy pissing you off. after reading your post i think it would make me happy to rip you off too.

skill? obviously they have enough skill to get you to drop your goods and burn you 'a couple of times'.

being an honest guy wont make people remember you. sure we have our honest abe, and our george 'cannot tell a lie' washington, but that list doesnt compare to the names we all know through infamy. heck, ive seen a lot more sepheroths then i have clouds on pso. for the record, ive never seen a single cloud. what does that tell you.

There's a problem with that point of view. If you think it'll make you happy to rip people off but at the same time you're trying to become famous through your infamy, it's only a matter of time before people recognize you and avoid you, therefore ruining your "fun". Bottom line: You'll never steal from the same person twice, or anyone they know once.

ViVi here, 94 HuCast in black. Now people like to say that stealing is wrong and is not fair. Well I like to consider myself pso's premier thief. I have stolen at least one of every single rare weapon in the game and sometimes i have had up to 3-4 lavis,heaven,ect..

Now people ask me why do i steal? Well its fun and i dont think people who have those items earned them. Well now youll say i traded for it....Just what exactly did you trade? Its commonly known that a double saber or hero ability is the best items you can find now. And the ultimate weapons are rewards from future quest, sega has already said that. So if you own something you didnt earn ill take it from you.

Now just because i am a nice guy and all ill tell you how not to lose your weapons to thieves. Exchange guild cards, use lots of scape dolls, and be about lev 90+. With this in mind you will find yourself dying less and being robbed less. I personally carry around 10-20 scape dolls on me at all times. And i die about once a day which is usually on darkfalz when he does lock on and some assklown shoots him.

Now if you are still bitter about thieving all i have left to say is my signature at the bottom.

Stealing is a part of the game. Look at the pre-made text (the one that translates for other languages). It even has a "What will you steal?" question in the Create a question section. Yuji Naka the producer of the game even said that stealing is up to you, its acceptable.

i just hope that the rumor about there being a battle mode on PSOv2 is true...thiefs beware if it is...i also think its a good idea to form anti thief guilds...and just becose someone traded for something.. dosent mean they earned it?....did you earn it by stealing it?....but i do agree that stealing is part of PSO and it always will be... any measures taken by sega or anyone else is far too late...sega will never do a thing becuse if they found a way to kick dupers and thiefs they would have to kick 60% of all the useres... becuse honest players have unknowingly traded for duped wepons and shyt like that... and as far as he cheaters in this form..fuck you all and i mean every last one of you i hope you choke to death on your boyfriends dicks ya bunch of fuckin fags...try and steal from me... ive only been stolen from when i die...wich is not often i mean the more you say the stupider you look so yo should just shut up and go steal from awbie
