Tonight I joined a BA mode team on Ult to watch people battle eachother, and I made it very clear that I only wanted to watch. So they were like "OMG K!", and they started BA1.

Sooo, after everything loads I start walking around to find out where everyon is fighting, and what happens? *gasp* A humar comes up behind me at starts whacking at my racast with his obviously duped BKB. So I start shooting the hell out of him and he backs off, leaving me time to run away. So I'm like "Omg I said I was only wanted to WATCH!", but then a fonewearl comes up to me and goes megid happy on me then takes my weapon and runs off saying ":)". So I tell them to piss off and I have to go team up with the other Humar. Anyway, we battle and time finishes up. And guess who won? The Humar and I! It's pathetic that a dupe using humar and a megid happy fonewearl couldn't beat a legit racast and a humar...

Sooo... This proves my theory that more than half of the population on PSO is illiterate! Yay http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I've had some bad experiences in Battle Mode as well. :/

I think I made a thread telling what happened already, but I can't find it at the moment. It was reeallly lame though.

I wonder if playing Battle Mode while trying to finish the adventure would be worthwhile, does anyone know? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I had that happen to me in F1. I got to be the reviver for two dueling dupers while we waited for a 4th player to join our BA6 HU game... yay. Then someone killed me. N00b. No moons for you.

Actual rules are a different story though. My policy for team BA is that if you can't/won't do your part, don't play. You're dragging an unfortunate teammate down with you. I hate it when people join my team and just helplessly stand around and get killed and lose their weps to the other team. It's completely pathetic. Even more so when they say they know what they are doing - and they obviously don't.

And if you really want to observe illiterate people, go see how many FO and RA join the HU-only games.

Heh, I never said I was a "MASTER dueller", don't put words in my mouth, sonua. I was just pointing out that more than 50% of the people on PSO seem to be illiterate, and that a Fo and a Hu with dupes couldn't beat a legit Racast and Humar. So pull that skyscraper outta yer ass and read my post right next time, ok, _J? (Is the J for jackass? hmm..)

Piss off, flame-happy bastard. He was merely pointing out prominent stupidity in the online portion of PSO.

y r u so crul to us ppl hoo r bad at inglesh?

bwahaha, i laughed at my brother for being so illiterate with a keyboard, and he says that it's lazyness, not illiteracy. but, i tend to agree with you, public schools aren't doing enough to ensure that every student learns to type... or spell...

Yeah, if you do rules you can play once you have decent techs (on the DC it used to reset all the techs you had at lvl 6 and above, to level 5). I'm sure they have a similar sort of thing? I'm reasonably sure that's the only thing that influences most of the rules in duel mode. But, for playing rule 1 and duelling in forest you have to stick to people around your level - unless you use dupes.

Oh, and don't duel any class other than FO on rules (except 1), if your a FO. Simply because it's hopelessly one-sided (to the FO).

I never got to battle CHAOS as my force. Me and my friend has a strange thing with always wanting to battle forces that had decent number of battle wins around Miranda 7. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

It was VERY different on DC.

Actually it's not that one sided at all... I battled two FOmars w/ my ranger, and came in 2nd all 3 battles. I didn't win, but I came damn close. I would have come in 1st if that one FO hadn't camped... I'm surprised he didn't bring a tent and sleeping bag. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I only had 100 wins on DC PSO, heh, not really a decent number of wins considering everyone else had over 1,000. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I still wanted to http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Plus, the number of battle wins didn't really mean much. I had about 3000 myself..
