All Force NO WEAPON team!

Imagine 4 unarmed Forces with buttons mapped to: Rabarta, Rafoie, Razonde; Reverser, Ryuker, Anti. The basic strategy is to just charge in blasting away with heavy spells and dropping a telepipe every once in a while. No Resta is needed or desired, since the way to regain TP is by simply dying! Every once in a while, all 4 Forces will die at the same time, but that's what the telepipes are for.

Has anyone done this?

Hmmm....that sounds like recipe for disaster, but then again it could be really fun. I would definitely use Trifluids though rather than dying to regain TP...

On VHard it takes around 5 or 6 blasts of Rafoie to kill something in the Forest. So all the Forces blasting at once...1 or 2 times per force...that'd be kinda neat http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Almost like playing Normal again...if anyone wants to try it...let me know...I'll be happy to join. Although I think Bosses would be the main problem...especially Dark Falz.

Yeah, this can work...but to be honest it's almost cheesy.

I had done this onetime with another force when the rest of the group left. But we did use resta to keep ourselves healed. We called it playing Tag, when one would run out of TP we would let the other know and just commit suicide and Reverser each other, it worked yes...but still not the most eficent way to do things.

That and as a force i've been trying to train myself to be defensive and not offensive hehe.

How ever my Rabarta is 15 now, and I think it would go much smother if everyone runs in Rabartas the place to death, then lets go RaFoie or heck melee a little, why not they are frozen hehe.

I say we get 4 Forces together...all equipped with Double Sabers. Run in a room...unleash Rabarta until most everything is frozen...then use the special on the Double Saber to get back our used TP http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

The special attack does a negligible amount of damage (~50) per attack...so we may be able to take out a whole room in about 5-10 minutes http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

Hey i am all for this since i just started my second character, a FOnewearl named MYrafe. She is level 40 but she has really powerful spells thanks to my level 100 character, Maverick X. Anyway, i tried this before but just myself not really with four other characters. IF i find 4 forces, i will suggest this.

*grins* Regardless of class, team play is the way to go -- but there was something viscerally pleasing about having three Forces (myself and two Forces I was lending a hand) whomping on the Caves 2 trap by standing in a circle and blazing away with itty bitty Heart guns, Razonde, and Rabarta. There were several occasions where the monsters kept getting knocked back so frequently it never had a chance to move...

I'm not sure why it was that much more satisfying, except perhaps we're used to guerilla tactics-- fire a few shots and run for the door or the helpful Hunter...

Just my two cent war story. Catch ya'll on the flip.

Originally, I thought of this idea as the ultimate way to thumb your nose at a PK'er. If you have a team of 3 players doing this, and the PK'er comes in and zaps you all--laugh away! He gets to steal nothing!

When I thought of it some more, I decided I wanted to do it myself. However, I've been thinking of it as more useful for low/mid level forces to level up. In Hard mode, tons of high level techniques can still do some good damage.

I've started a new force character specifically for this, and have gotten a couple friends interested. I'll let you know how it goes...

Mei, it was a tongue in check joke, I think you read too much into it (i.e. dissing Forces). I die pretty often as a Force, never made any claims that I didn?t. As for the Bazooka, I use it not to kick some monster?s ass (as it is not a good Force weapon imho) as you say. If I can finish up some things and I dont either A. get draged somewhere by my on and off again girlfriend or B. Get draged off to one of my many other online habits i.e. UT, Red Alert 2, HL, CS...then I should be able to make it tonight.

I'm EST so anytime after 8pm est is prob good for me. Ryiko has almost all of her lv 15 spells now, mostly the important ones like Rabarta and Shifta/Deband (finaly) I would to at least meet to get some of yous Guild Cards.

Actually outside confusion status and bosses I never really die.. just got to be aware of what you're doing.. shrug. Other classes seem to fall more than me, but I'm not complaining - they're also taking the hits more than me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

In general a good group hardly dies anyways, and a force group using freezes nukes and resta should be nigh unstoppable.

I'd lose the ryuker and add resta. Only die/revive at low TP if you're really against using a trifluid/not using a TP sucker weapon.
( I don't have a double saber but a geist raygun isn't all that bad for nabbing TP).

I'd be up for a quality force stomp, I'll leave my email just in case I lose track of the thread
