the only type of people that complain about forces are humans and andriods...i have yet to see one newman complain about a force. now heres a question towards human and andriods. (especially HUmars HUcasts And RAmars). why do you hate forces and make them only cast s/d/j/z.

i dont mind forces. i was mainly droid for a while till i made one, now i love them(not that i hated them or anything). they are really underestimated by some people out there. i think the reason many people who play as hunters and rangers hate forces, is that they dont do, want they want them to do it. example, a hunter killing enemies in one hit and asking you to cast shifta. most smart people playing as a force, wouldnt pay them any mind and go about trying to collect exp., thats what i think pisses them off, the lack of following there orders. but those people have to remember that a force isnt the assist slave to the other classes, if that were true, then they wouldnt haave any offencive attacks. but the sad fact is that some people playing online as a hunter/ranger, either dont care about the forces actually lvlin up, or think of them as a liability who is to weak to handle any kind of combat and should stay in the rear where its safe and support those doing the dirty work.

I'm a HUmar.
I don't care about Shifta and Deband.
I don't even use J/Z
Why does everyone assume that all HUmars, RAmars, etc. are n00bs?

im a HUcast as many of you already know and i dont hate or force them to cast j/z/s/d. I ask them to cast Shifta once in awhile if we are doing a sould blade/ruins run cause im only lvl. 112 { http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif } and i dont care if they get the kill for the enemy cause they can really hog the kills like 500 damage Spread needle RAngers. Its just useful.

Shifter has it right.
My main character is a lvl 128 Ramar. If a force is in my party and doesn't want to cast S/D, I'll do it. So it's only lvl 15 S/D, but whatever.
I don't ever want to see a force just sit there and do nothing but cast support spells. I honestly expect them to cast attack spells more than support ones. They usually have much higher level attack spells, and those work GREAT.
I also have a lvl 74 Fomar. He's fun. I S/D/J/Z everything when I'm in a party, and yet still somehow find time to nail that last booma/shark/etc with my weapon, or a high level single attack spell.
I'm really tired of people that think forces are for support only. I take my fomar through online areas by himself and have little need for a humar/ramar.
I would say:
Forces: Play like you mean it. You can decide to S/D/J/Z depending on how your team is going.
Hunters/Rangers: Learn to appreciate and work with forces better. They are very helpful to you.

What ever happened to team work? You know, actually cooperating to devestate any monster that dares rear its ugly head. It is always good to watch each others back, but it is important to be able to handle your own. Most forces can really wipe out a room quickly, but I personally like to use my Hucaseal and act as "point man" (My evation is 795 http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif ) Always help each other out when possible. ie Characters that don't need Monofluids, Difluid, or Trifluids should keep some in their inventory and give it over to a force in need http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif !

It is those damn rangers with 5000 atp and spread needles. Not forces, and hunters atleast have to run up to the enemies before they can slap them with their j swords.

I play an RAcast, HUcast and a FOmar a lot... I personally find that I love the play the RAcast and FOmar... When I used to play online, FOmar was my favorite... Forces have awesome attack spells and if you raise em right you can even make them decent melee fighters... I dont think its fair to assume that all hunters/rangers want only for forces to cast s/d/j/z... I personally never asked... they just did it... I dont expect anyone to help me online if they dont want to... and I dont help others unless they need it when I play a force... All in all I think that game is pretty balanced so no class should be limited to a particular play style... or role...

My main character is my FOmar. I PERFECTLY understand that Hunters and Rangers want me to use S/D/J/Z and i will if i want to. I just hate ppl barking orders for me to cast them. i WILL use them if we r in a room full of many monsters and for the bosses, but i wont do it so other ppl can get the EXP AND get the rare item that is dropped on the ground. My bro is a RAcast and does not bother me about S/D/J/Z but i will help him occasionally. If i use S/D on him and myself, then he will protect me if im about to be hit and he will take the hit. Its called TEAMWORK ppl, you know..thats why you can play the game in CO-OPERATIVE mode, to help each other buy using your unique ablities.

Well, then you're not using all your assets. I know you can't cast S/D but at least cast J/Z and see the difference. I know that my HUcaseal loves S/D because it makes a huge difference in her ability to kill quickly, cleanly, and without getting whomped so badly.
If you're not playing to full capacity, and you think you 'don't need it because you're so good' then no wonder there's a stereotype...

I'm a HUmar. I personally like a good Force on my team. I think there aren't enough forces out there. My only problem is when a weak guy like me has trouble getting a hit in with all the spells flying around. But, it's usually not a problem.
Also, not just Forces are given orders. I once played with an Android on Hard who was definitely far too weak to be in it. He kept getting hurt, and would say in all caps, "RESTA!!!" Needless to say, this got annoying after quite a while. People... the least you could do is say "please" every once in a while. Or use your mates... they're in the game for a reason.

i have 1 (lvl 80+) of each race of character
1 lvl 140 fonewearl
a lvl 105 humar
and a lvl 85 racaseal
when i am my fonewearl. i will go out of my way to heal someone. and i will usually make sure that they have s/d
but as my other 2 who cant use s/d i dont really care about it all that much, and dont demand it. the only reason i get s/d are if i use it as a photon blast. which is pretty nice http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
i play with teamwork in mind. i dont just go around demanding things. that is the way that everyone should play!

people with HUmars are not n00bs now get that out of your head. HUmars are as good as any other chara. Just cause ther discription says they are good for begginers is lame. I have HUmar 128.
also i have HUnewearl FOnewearl and HUcaseal. THEY ARE EQUALY GOOD AND I PERSONALY THINK HUmars ARE ONE OF THE BEST.

Frankly, I find it more enjoyable if you didn't have to ask for any help. It's nice if everyone can handle everything on their own, but it's even nicer if everyone is willing to help each other out without a second thought.
As a force, I like casting shifta/deband, knowing it would help out. I don't think about it wasting my TP. I think about the team, as a whole, getting through the rooms. If I wanted to get exp, I could just cast j/z, and I could cast attack magic to assist in the rests damage; I could even melee if I wanted to. I aslo like to cast resta alot. I like seeing full bars on everyone.
As a Hunter or Ranger, I just think about killing, picking off monsters before they could try to kill me or my other teammates.
Just think about putting yourself in the other's position. If you were a hunter/ranger, wouldn't you like high level s/d/j/z? So as a force I cast it. If you were a Ranger, just wanting to pick monsters off, wouldn't you like backup or cover from others, making sure no monsters come close to you so you can blast off your guns? So as a hunter or any other class for that matter, you'd want to make sure that nothing harms your teammates.
I think it's just common sense or common courtesy, if you think as a team. Unfortunately, plenty out there lack that, or lost that frame of mind. I'm not baggin on people who think of themselves most; as the way they play is their choice. Reality is, not all of our philosophies mix together. We just have to find the kind of company that fits us.

i can handle my own considering i am offline only. and that isnt by chose. i would gladly join a online game and bash some crazed bartles a$$ for a Fonewearl in distress.

I think it would be the other way round. My FO kills bartles in 3 hits and they hardly do damage when the are j/z'd and she kicks a$$ in the mines! The only things that need help are the monsters

i love having forces around. a force, 2 hunters, and a ranger can clear levels faster than hunters and rangers. if forces dont want to be support, thats fine. my fomar is melee (still use resta, reverser, anti, etc)
im a humar and i dont need s/d/j/z either. the only techs i ever need are resta, anti, and ryuker. if i really need s/d my diwari gives it to me when pb100 or i can use mylla and youlla
let forces do what they want

My main character is a HUmar, and i will admit, i am not exactly a very good one, however, i am not a greedy one. I love it when there is a force in a game, they really help bring down the toughter enemies. As for the S/D/J/Z, i have jellen and zalure, but i dont use it much, because my casting speed is low, and they are only about lvl 5. With shifta and deband, i only ask for it when i absoulty need it, and thats almost never. If i need resta, i'll do it myself. However, i noticed that ever since i entered ultimate on Xbox, people hav begun to work as a team. The forces will resta you if you need it, S/D are being cast every time someone runs out, and i personally take hit for forces, and attack enemies close to forces and rangers. Teamwork IS the name of this game, and its much more fun with it.

Hmm
I play with a couple of regulars online, and two of them have forces that they use quite often (Soulvibed and Gentle). So, i don't know, we play so frequently together, that i dont even pay attention to what they do, we kind of have a team style that works so well. When i play with other forces, if they cast j/z/s/d, thats fantastic, if they don't, thats fantastic, i just adjust my humar/racast accordingly to their style of combat. As when i use my fomar/fonewearl, i like to be a support force, frequent j/z, frequent cure/anti casting, thats just the way i am. Anyway, life it very short, and theres no time....for fussing and fighting my friends...
Peace love and hair grease
