What character type should i make and what ID to go with it?

depends on what do you fee like using..for example...
a meleeing spellcaster go with FOmar or FOmarl
no tech ranger go with RAcast or RAcaseal, want to do a lot of ranger damge go with RAcast..
like to do a lot of damge, not much on casting, HUmar
like to do good damge with good techs, go with HUnewearl
like to use no techs and be pretty speedy in combat with igh ATA and EVP go with HUcaseal

I justed started a HUcast and i think there really fun to play with. So unless you hate not being able to use techs go with the HUcast.

For Rangers Its between RAmar and RAcast.

Forces idk FOmar looks best i think. But FOnewm is better for pure mst power

I would say hucaseal, since they're nonmiss ata at high lvl and they lovely blocking make them deadly against monster, xept for bosses, and they are switft too.
